Watching this match I noticed a worrisome trend in this Arsenal team. Following years of having Xhaka play in the middle with little or no creativity the player seem to have a lack of trust in the midfield; they just keep passing sideways.

Even when they see Partey clearly standing in the middle ready to collect the ball, they end up passing sideways instead. You can sense the frustration on partey’s face . At a time he even raised his hands up in despair. Smh
