Zimri: the phones are acting as blinkers. in real life, blinkers are used to prevent horses and donkeys from seeing what's behind them as well as what's beside them. in the photo, the phones are used as blinkers while the donkey refers to human beings. it's metaphorically referring to the fact that social media leaves people with an overly narrow focus or inability to see the larger picture. 18 Likes |
