bassey had an excellent game in his europa league debut which caught rohr's fancy but he is not the finish product yet. i think why he may he capped sooner or later is not to lose him to italy or england.

he is a good prospect and highly rated at leicester before he moved to scotland in search of 1st team football so i think capping him wont be a bad idea. moreover i learnt he harbors the ambitions to fly with the eagles some day so i think his case wont be complicated

agreed.

That guy scammed us with that goal against Argentina grin ....Having him at LB made our left wing so unadventurous!

I knew it..
What's the point of using a left back that can't use his left foot properly..

Maybe it was his ability to speak Russian coupled with the goal against Argentina that got him the world cup ticket..

Idowu is not a bad player to be candid I rate him more than Colin ......he is a good LB the he doesn't really join the attack but he defends with His life a kinda of azpuileta kinda of LB ...the duo are damn similar. Rohr had to drop him because he lost form but right now he is in form I don't see a reason why rohr won't invite him.

Definitely not like Aina... Aina can deliver decent crosses with his left foot as much as with his right.. He also contributes well to attack..That's something Idowu lacks..

Even Ebuehi can play the LB role as a makeshift better....

He can deliver cross with his left foot too
Thats why he is two footed if you watch him closely you can decipher between his weak foot and his strong foot ...he knows how to use his right foot like his left foot.

Bros, don't be offended...but please never compare Aina's left to Idowu's. Aina is far more flexible. I've seen Aina in many cases throwing long and accurate passes with his left foot...I can bet my balls that Idowu is still very far from perfection in terms of playing with his left foot. Truth be told, Idowu cannot bring anything new to our team. If only you've been watching Zaidu's play for Porto, you'll never suggest Idowu's invitation.

idowu is in contention too
he scored two goals in his last two match
Rohr watched aribo and balogun in their last match and he was amazed with bassey performance but the thing the full back roles are kinda filled...ebuehi and ehzibue covers the right ...sanusi and aina covers the left who will be dropped for the duo is it sanusi or aina thats a tough decision on rohr let's not forget aina is playing consistently in Fulham.

Ehzibue is yet to play sha

Aina is an option for both left and right back bro

I'm sure he was delivering crosses while playing for Amkar Prem before he got his SE invitation..

With all due respect,he tried his best.. but his best wasn't good enough and we have to move...
Anyway, if u want Rohr to recall him for next month game, who would u drop for him?
u have to drop somebody to invite somebody..

Agreed aina is a better left footer than idowu but thats doesn't mean idowu doesn't cross with his left foot it might be as accurate as aina's ...idowu scores with his left foot ..and also defensively idowu is better than aina.

Careful with the kind of statements you put forth. Careful. Genius and resilience aren't on the same wavelength. One may enhance the other but they are very different. The fact that a genius stated that he's resilient doesn't mean his resilience made him a genius. Perhaps being resilient made his results so much better, but the two can exist independently.

Ehizibue is good, maybe better than Aina...but don't be too sure yet that he will automatically get the RB spot... Remember he had the chance to make the role his own prior to the world cup but he wasn't ready to commit,so we got Ebuehi instead..

As for the RB spot, I think Ehizibue is already the first choice! Yes, that guy is a spirit. He's currently the fastest player in Bundesliga followed by Koman.

But to be candid idowu still has a lot to offer I missed him in the game against Brazil ..he would have tamed Gabriel Jesus that day..we need him for such kind of game...he knows how to absorb presssure Argentina games comes in mind....

Agreed with the bolded grin ....but the first paragraph remember idowu is an integral member of the team ,a world cup player and very experienced..he tops bassey in this.

I think it falls to an angle.

I have been in a study group where I was the block head and the guys in the group were what we would call pure geniuses.

These guys came off secondary school with mostly A's and I was a pure C student.

I was motivated, determined and passionate to excel in that group. I believe I worked ten times harder than them round the clock.

Some months later, really several months later, I was clearly ahead of them in every way.

As one of them put it, I transformed into a genius.

Resilience can unlock hidden geniuses.

You can say there are different types but my point is, working hard to unlock a code does not mean dullness it could even mean brilliance.

Remove the maybe he is better than aina
And he is guaranteed of a spot because he is obviously better than aina and ebuehi for now ...ebuehi will still give a fierce competition when he is fully fit.
