The army caused this. Why did they provoke peaceful protesters by shooting them.

Army put petrol and fire in their hands?
How many did you burn in your own state?

It just shows how negative and evil you are. Are people not stranded because the BRT buses were burnt, yes or no? Why are you so foolish.
seborrhic:
Glorifying the suffering of people.
The aim of this op is to say"for protesting, you people that protested or supported the protesters deserve every suffering you get".
Burning and looting,as bad as it is,and try as much as people and government warn against it,have most often been a collateral damage of protests, even in the most civilized, well to do and democratic of Nations.
Bad policies make people become angry. When u now add hunger and suffering,u would come to realize,Nigerian protest was even a bit mild.
In many Arab Nations, with the kinds of hardship and police brutality Nigerians are suffering, whole cities would have been burnt to the ground and numerous government facilities set ablaze.
In the Western world,1/4 of what is happening here would have shut down cities and countries for weeks till practical steps are taken or governments resign.
Successive Nigerian governments are lucky to have relatively laid back people, despite the level of hardship.
As for the BRT buses, for heaven's sake, large corporations like that take out insurance policies for vehicular accidents, bus infernos, accidental or deliberate or irate actions by the public.
If they didn't,then one must question the kind of people running the BRT.
It's a demented person that would find joy in glorifying suffering of people because of a largely peaceful protest, that was then infiltrated by government sponsored thugs, which for everyone has backfired.

Not Protesters but Hoodlums!

I would never allow anyone denigrate the peaceful protests that held in Nigeria for 13 whole days without incidents.

That Title is a deliberate attempt to make the sacrifices of young people all this time as nothing.

You were attacked by Hoodlums. Hoodlums hired by the government that they can no longer control. Not Protesters.

That's what most of you keep telling yourselves to feel better. If you have tiniest idea of how much each one of those buses cost, you wouldn't be here vomiting this trash

The last time I checked, you the protesters are still the same commuters. The last time I checked, the massacre turned out to be audio. The last time I checked, you were the ones killing the police and burning things down.
Now, you want the government to clean your mess.
BTW: what human lives are we really talking about here?

The black race are majorly impulsive and emotional than strategic.

Imagine if they had called the protests after the reforms kicked started, they would have had the upper hand and the relevance, also momentum. But now they are seen as hoodlums, miscreants, looters.

They know what they are doing... They just want to criminalize protests in the country by attaching so much evil. If they succeed, people will now be tolorating their misgovernance without any protestations...

The moronic idiots called youths should have suspended their protests immediately government (FG) acceded to their demands. Now protests will be synonymous with looting, lawlessness, breakdown of law and order, anarchy.

If you step out for a protest again there will be gun shots not from the army or police BUT from me.

As we type here, protests are going on in Italy... France has had at least one protest per year in the last 3 years... Shall we speak of Asia and America!!!

How can so called learned leaders of tomorrow join in demonizing protests and mass action??! It's embarrassing, shameful, and annoying!...

Your leaders failed to safeguard lives and properties, even made things worse by turning guns on unarmed protesters... Instead of taking the idiots to the cross, you join them to heap all blames on those agitating for change!!!

This level of idiocy is beyond me!!!

In France when the government acquiesces to their demands, the protesters call it off.

In Nigeria, the protesters want to teach government a lesson.

Socrates, one of the greatest philosophers said " The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new" This conception played out when the youths of Nigeria teamed up together irrespective of tribe, religion and other sentimental indices that has long held this great nation in bondage to ask for a change in regular narrative, they almost nailed it but for the counter productive incidents that occurred, this is a big plus, but it is very appalling when selfish and mischievous individuals like you insist on playing the tribal card, it is pathetic, vile and misleading to insist that another tribe spearheaded the violence that ensued, except you have evidence to proof otherwise I strongly believe that you are a failure, miserable and frustrated person in whatever world you live in
