2018 was just the game against Iceland.

Did you see Musa at the 2013 AFCON and 2014 World Cup?
He was very poor

Akpoguma was solid when he played centre-back against Tunisia. Never mind Rohr's silly experiment against Algeria.
Pls from Tunisia match will you start Akpoguma ahead of Balogun.

Akpoguma is a good CB but average so starting lineup is not sure for him in GWG with what we saw in recent friendlies.

grin now we need 4 extra wingers.

I thought some people here once said that we didn't need Bukayo Saka because we have enough Wingers?

We have so many average wingers in that Team. None of the current Wingers can measure up to Victor Moses and Ahmed Musa when they were at their prime.

I'll have to admit that it's very true, our wingers were very terrible in those 2 games, nevertheless Moses should enjoy his retirement. New wingers should be called up.

Chief just leave the matter.I can say it anywhere anytime that none of our current wingers have done half of what Musa and Moses did for Super eagles.
Very true

to be fair to Akpoguma, he was played out of position in the two games as a RB, he did well at some point when he drifted into CB against Tunisia

Good morning my man, yes you are right but remember Shehu Abdullahi a midfielder seized RB position prior to WC and Awaziem as a CB seized RB position during last Afcon.

Pls can we have the same excuses for Awaziem,Omeruo or balogun if they performed poorly as RB.

Ola Aina was dropped from last WC for committing an outside foul that was wrongly given as penalty by referee.A player must always seized any opportunity given to him.

Apart from Balogun in the last friendlies others are bunch of average and fact remains Akpoguma failed to live up-to the hypes,so let see Ehzibue first in GWG before you send others packing.

Eguavoen’s appointment as NFF Technical Director thrills coaches

The appointment of a former Super Eagles captain and coach, Augustine Eguavoen, as the Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been commended by Nigerian coaches.
Eguavoen’s elevation into the top position to oversee all technical matters in Nigerian football, was ratified at last Tuesday’s Executive Committee meeting of the country’s highest football governing body.

Eguavoen is a member of the trailblazing Super Eagles set of 1994 that won the AFCON title the same year and earned Nigeria’s first ticket to play in the FIFA World Cup in USA in 1994.
With this new appointment, he is expected to chart the technical direction of Nigerian football, a task that the former defender is all too conversant with having worked as a technical guru all his years in football.

Speaking on Eguavoen’s appointment, a former Super Falcons coach, Godwin Izilein, said it was a step in the right direction, adding that Eguavoen has the requisite wealth of experience to energise the technical arm of Nigerian football for optimum performance.
Izilein described Eguavoen as a person of impeccable character, whose passion for excellence and commitment to the growth of Nigerian football was top notch, tipping him to succeed in his new plum position.

Also speaking, former Enyimba and Rangers Coach, Segun Ogunbote, said Eguavoen’s appointment as the generalismo of NFF’s technical department was going to usher in new vim and vitality into Nigerian football.
“Eguavoen is a thoroughbred professional who understands technical issues. I see new things beckoning for our football,” said Ogunbote, who most recently, was in charge of Lobi Stars of Makurdi.

Sir let's chill and watch him play other games. in truth none of our players turned up in the two friendlies except Balogun. But Balogun also has had poor games in the Super Eagles. Let's see how the other players fare in other games

Bro,it is simple you don't rate Aina.

My Broda don't misquote aina is a good player he is our best fullback I rate him a lot but when I'll surely pick ehzibue ahead of aina as a RB that just the reality.

Good morning, I wouldn't really label those cases as seizing the RB position since none of Awaziem or Shehu were exceptional in those positions against quality sides. You can't also say that the reason why Aina was dropped was because of that foul, he preferred Shehu ahead of him at RB. Rohr should quit experimenting and use players in their right positions, in the last two games some players were played out of position.
