Anyone used Turkish Airlines recently, were you allowed to bring a carry-on baggage and a personal bag?

Also how strict are they with the 23 Kg baggage limit?

I used Turkish air few days ago but to come to Nigeria, if you exceed 23kg you would have to pay more.

For those asking if the level 5 restrictions will affect travel, No it doesn’t affect. You can come from the airport and go to the airport.
But when you reach your destination you are not allowed under the level 5 restrictions to go beyond 5km from where you stay.

Hello everyone,

Kindly give your honest advice or opinion in this issue:

If you had the option to choose either Ireland or US for an IT Masters course; all things being equal where both offered 100% scholarship with monthly stipends and both visas are given.

Where would be your preferred location and why?

Please answer honestly for someone's sake.

Thanks

Congratulations! I'm proud of you.

Please do you know anything about getting into the Med School in TCD. I heard about the possibility of getting in without MCAT. I'll like to confirm that.

So, I got my Visa approved today. I applied last year and was rejected but was told I could appeal. I did this and with the help of Icas and most especially God, I appealed the decision and today, my visa was one of those on the approved list.

I am awaiting the reopening of our international flights and will be in Ireland when school resumes in September. My advice is to put God first and seek the counsel of experienced people on the forum. I pray that we are all favoured in the coming weeks

Ireland or Europe generally is good for family and Europe have a lot of benefits as a family man.
In EU countries, you are not afraid of be shot or attack.
Your kids are free to go anywhere without you getting scare of anything
Education is cheap and one of the best in the world
USA:
Everything about US is diff from what you are seeing on TV
Single person earn good money more than EU single person and to me, that’s the only thing good about USA
In USA education is too expensive and that’s the reason USA has the highest Num of dropout.

My visa has been approved. I give glory to God almighty who has done this for me. May his name be praised from generations to generations. My story is a long one, but i wouldn't go that far. This is not the first time i have applied for a visa outside but was denied. I also thank our blessed mother Mary for her powerful intercession and the Angels of the living God for their assistance.

My family for their support, My brothers, My parents. Not forgetting friends who supported me, friends whom i made in this journey.
I thank ICaSNg so so much. I can ask questions for Africa , disturbed her but she was always willing to answer me. I specially thank Gladiators 01 , he was my Angel when i needed help the most, it was so difficult to book for an appointment, he booked with his money not minding the fact we had not met. God bless him plenty.
Special thanks to DammyDrust ,Slimdolyin, Dweeb5 , Expressbooking and Daniel. To those i didn't mention thank you. God bless everyone who has given help to people in this forum in one way or the other.

For those still waiting for their visa to be approved, grace will speak for you.

Thank you and see you all in Ireland.

Thanks for the mention. When you get here, also encourage others. Apologies for being absent for so long. I will try to come as often as I can, studies permitting

masters in business administration

Have you checked if the course is on the critical skills list? Not that you can't study it but you have a greater chance of getting a job after studies if your employment is on the list

One is allowed to go out for groceries or even to look for accommodation. I am currently on quarantine.

Groceries yes, but looking for accommodation while quarantining is at your own risks

Thought to provide an update as I got a lot of help from here.

I got a decision on my appeal exactly 13 working days after I reapplied.

I have now arrived and settled in Ireland.

Thank you @adekemiejiro @dwebb @IcasNG and everyone who share honest replies that help, you re gems.

I pray that those waiting will get good feedback soon.

Cheers!

It's surprising seeing my moniker! You are welcome. May the land yield fruit fully for all of us and for those still waiting, keep up the spirit and believe in God! He will make a way!

ExpressBooking:

Once they look at ur carry-on luggage and feels it's over 8kg they will weigh it. Then as for the 2x23kg they are very strict about it, you will pay for any extra gram

A sure proof way to know your luggage weight is to get a normal weight scale. Stand on it and determine your weight, then carry your bag on your head and weigh again. Subtract your weight from the second reading and voila the weight of your baggage is known.

With this technique, I have never gotten a bag that was overweight while travelling
