I will like to chip in some advice to those intending to migrate . Please one of the most fatal or costly. Mistakes in planning immigration is to believe that some places are easier than others . New environment can only be easier if you are well prepared , I inisits that no where is perfect and there is poverty everywhere. Don't look for popular places where ppl are going rather chart your own course . I have travelled a bit not so much though and I have seen how Nigerians suffer and most painful often waste time outside because they were not prepared.
Firstly, if you don't have high funds, know no one who is financially buoyant enough to shoulder you in the country you are going and you have no vocational skills, EXCEPT GOD INTERVENES,, THAT PERSON MAY LIKELY SPEND 10YEARS BEFORE FINDING HIS OR HER FEET. If you want to migrate and get serious funds, it will really help to cushion a lot of things and get you settled quickly. You won't waste time. Can you believe it that Nigerians (ibis) are becoming serious serious multi-millionaires in Mozambique that they won't even look at you if you ask them to go to Canada or the USA, while many in uk and usa are still struggling to get paper and settle down after donkey years ? As I speak many Ibo traders have become millionaires in Malawi without even entering Europe? I can attest to the Gabon case because I saw with my own 2 eyes how Ibo populated one of the biggest markets in Gabon and are making it big. So please stop looking for easy places, chart your own course, don't follow follow people, get prepared financially and skills wise then lastly DONT WASTE TIME ,JUST DO IT 33 Likes 2 Shares |

Spanish is easy to pick up for an English speaker. Better to learn it and have a successful future than facing certain poverty in the shithole zoo. Actually German is easier for an English speaker and Spanish for a french speaker. (I work in bilingual School where German *Allemand* is taught as well as Espagnol) 1 Like |

Hello bro Pls how do i start with the scholarship process, i mean is there any website for that. Pls, how? Thanks Informanta: Let's talk New Zealand
Yeah........ Good day wonderful people and I hope we are safe
Yesterday there was a discussion on New Zealand here and as a determined person that I am I quickly put it as my task for today.....
New Zealand is as far as Australia no doubt infact they are very close to each other and share so much in common.....
Talking about being far, I really desire to be very far from everything called Nigeria the farther you are from your problem and bad governance the more prosperous one would be..... I guess that's why Australia the farthest from Nigeria is ranked the wealthiest and heaven on earth.... So for those dat want to be close to Nigeria abeg no take my statement personal..... All man with his wish
New-zealand Study route
New Zealand offers free application fees.... I.e you don't pay for application fees and the process looks swift and easy but the school fees carry weight, hence any body that is not financially bouyant should be ready to apply for scholarships which are also currently available for international students.....
Best of luck guys 3 Likes |

newmoney133: I saw this in another thread and I wish to share to encourage us
For those who still call me to tell me that after getting this copr that they are stuck with decision to leave the known to an unknown. . I laugh. .cos they don't even realize that Nigeria is the unknown while Canada is the known.. Cos in Canada I know where I am going. .I project what I want to achieve in real time with God on my side...I know when my kids will graduate from school. .I know when I dial 911 what will happen....I know when my kids benefit support will come and when it will stop. . I know that if I put in 900hrs in any job and gets laid off I have employment insurance that will he paid on timely and regular basis to sustain me for one and half year until I find another job if i wish to. ..I know that my pregnant wife will go into labour and I don't need to think of which side of road I need to follow to avert traffic to get her to the clinic and I know that when she gets to the clinic she will he received by smiling humane doctors and nurses who are happy to do their job and welcome the little one into this beautiful world and not doctors and nurses who curse and swear while they manage to help the wife deliver with generator light. .and I know I don't need to pay a dime for my wife to deliver be it natural or via surgical. .I know too that life matters here and that even animals life matters too..I know also that I may not ever be Dangote in Canada but I know I don't need to struggle to live a life. ..I know that I don't need to get scared when my car skids of the road cos 3 ambulances. .4 police vehicles and 3 EMS will rush to rescue me alive in seconds. .I know when I file my tax I either get a refund or repayment and where my tax works for me.. That is known..
The unknown which we call known that is Nigerian where I don't know when my kids will graduate from school...I don't know what next will happen if I am laid off my job..I don't know what Maina did with my pension money..I don't know who will take care of the senior citizens when they can't access the fruit of their labour as pensioners. .I don't have a 911 to dial in case of emergency. ..I don't know who will rescue me in case of accident when everybody is out with his phone taking videos and pictures to be the first to post on Facebook of agonies and pains of accident victims until they are dead for lack of help. .I don't know what the govt thinks about us...I don't know when in my lifetime I will turn the light and expect light or when I will turn the tap and have any of my choice of hot or cold water without depending on borehole. .I don't know when I will also use only my passport with taking it to the pastor to fast and pray for 4 months to get common visa...when wil it be...I don't know...I don't know when the govt will start to pay child benefit support and senior citizens support...and I don't even know when I will know anything. .
My dear people. ..for me I can only chose where I was told "welcome home" with smiles and love over where I was asked "oga wetin you bring come back for us" with anger and frustration. I decide to choose where I am made a host even though I am a guest over where I was a made a guest even though I am the host.
The unknown is Nigeria and the known for me is Canada.w written by Einsteino on nairaland Hmmm... I dey learn We- Move o. Naija is really the unknown and uncertain place as explained above. May God help us |

vocational skills in building , vocational skills in fashion these are the two main areas i can definitely and confidently tell you that if you are good in it , you will make it ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD , ANY COUNTRY . i know of a lady that had 2,1 in Agric economics from unaab , she went to Canada hoping to get a job and settle down only for her to be told that she has to go back to school and do more studies before they can even reckon with her first degree , she is now one of the biggest building contractors now in Canada. she dumped her certificate , went in and learnt AutoCAD and other building drawing programs , then went in for carpentry studies in Canada , and that was it . her success even attracted bisi olatilo to do a full documentary on her then , her name is bukola but i don't know her full surname . i know of an oau graduate that went to Mali then and became a bastard millionaire all because he was very good in barbing , abroad is a leveler and when you get there , the first question the white man will ask isnt about the certificate you have BUT what you can do . Reason why i said from the onset , that it is not about whether the place you are going is good or not , as long as there is no war , today global economy is what about what you ca n offer and how productive you can be. i also know a small Nigerian boy that i met in Ghana then , all he learnt in Nigeria was curtains designs and how to sew curtain and install then , you wont believe that is what got him a big job in Ghana and made him move above many that came in with degrees then , ordinary fixing of curtains and knowing how to match them. if you want to make money , settle down fast, and quickly make sometime out of time , then use the time you have in Nigeria now to learn a vocational skill as you prepare yourself for your eventual migration to anywhere in the world robify01:

You also forgot tech skills. Programming, design et al. Vocational skills really pay well in the west men. See how much plumbers earn whereas in Nigeria na poverty wages. 5 Likes |
