Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos One of the major angst by Nigerians against their leaders is the wanton looting of the nation’s commonwealth. From the presidency, to the National Assembly, state Assemblies and even local government chairmen, the general impression about politicians in Nigeria is that their sole aim of going into public office is to amass wealth at the detriment of the suffering masses. https://www.independent.ng/should-government-prosecute-covid-19-palliative-looters/ 2 Likes

Iyooooooo cartel Why prosecute people who are taking what rightly belong to them. While other state governorship are freely leaving the citizens of their state to freely loot the palliatives, ifeanyi Ugwuayi of Enugu state and obiano of anambra killed their citizens because of indomie 3k. Gburu gburu is the worse thing to ever happened to Enugu state in a long time 18 Likes 2 Shares

Can we do the right thing in a wrong way under the law I agree, most individuals are not criminals perse...most actions were influence by "Mob" and "Social unrest". If you look at those individuals, individually, you will find out that most doesn't have that boldness to actually loot or commit that crime. But then, law is law...you don't do the right thing in a wrong way. If it is wrong for a landlord to forcefully break into a defaulting tenants room and pack out his/her belongings without court permission (I am not a lawyer)..Then it is wrong to forcefully break into wharehouse and loot palliatives... irrespective of Government wickedness 7 Likes |

They should persecute the Governors who hoard those palliatives first. So if not for Endsars protest we would have be wasting our time and energy pleading for good road and electricity and other common amenities from the same people who hide Rice, Indomie and Garri from us. God will be the one to punish you people. 12 Likes 2 Shares |
