OP is very correct. Things in PH are so costly now. Traders attributed it to the unrest at Oil mill market and Oyigbo. 3 cabbages now sell for 4K.

Cabbage wey I dey buy for N50 or N100 highest up North. cool

I am not exaggerating, I bought 3 of these sizes for #100 in Lagos. I asked him why it was expensive and he said this is not the season and it's scarce. If I had gone to the hausa sellers, all of these onions will not be more than #100 honestly.

This is the fallout of the recent crisis that saw many Northern interests looted and in some cases burnt down to ashes in the South. I saw a video of a trailer load of goats being looted by locals. I also saw another video of several trailers laden with food items burning. That won't go without any repercussions.

This is exactly the situation in Portharcourt. I bought one small piece for N100.00 . It is no exaggeration. Check any market from Trans Amadi to Mile 1.

When some fools elected to assault innocent northerners in the name of protest, this is the outcome.

My friend keep quiet. You people should stop being lazy and start plantations in your empty lands. What is so special about the North. The South have different climate and enough lands for plantation.
