A new week is going already and no news. They're not even dropping BVLs as they did last week. What exactly is wrong with IRCC? They didn't even prioritise Fall applicants who started online since September. These guys are so annoying. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Hello aminat2000, Is your father going to sponsor you? If yes, his bank statement (4-6 months) and he should write a sponsorship letter stating that he’ll support you. And yours (if you would like to show it) I’ll advise him to transfer the living expenses of 10,000 cad to your account and that you show your account Some other things can be in your proof of fund section, although they won’t count to your total funds available. Things like: Pension statement of your dad Any investment/shares Landed properties Your sponsor also needs to show his source of funds, that means where his money is coming from. If he’s employed he needs his letter of employment, letter of introduction from his employer and his payslips (3-6 months). If he’s a business man he needs to show his business registration documents and if possible proof or receipts of his business transactions Please go back to page one of this thread. On that page you can find required documents for application, you’ll get a more detailed response to your question there. As you read through the thread. I advise you to read from beginning to end, take note of documents people who got approved submitted. That will help you figure out the important documents. Please note that the minimum required proof of fund is 1 year tuition + 10,000 cad for living expenses. I’ll advice your sponsor has way over that, because it’s not realistic that he/she will give you all the money in their account for studies. All the best aminat2000: |

rebecausoro:@rebecca, as suggested by fratermathy yesterday, that a Webform & Mail to IRCC for enquiry on an application won't be a bad idea or the waiting game (patience) should continue, but I have a feeling Updates would roll in soon, also owing to the fact that an Applicant in this forum got BVL & PPR yesterday and the address shows IRCC Nairobi Address 2 Likes |

Hi guys, I applied for a student visa March but was rejected based on this reason “I am not satisfy that you will leave canada at the end of stay…Based on purpose of visit”. I applied for Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management. I use to work as a Creative Director and now a Project Director. According to my GCMS note 1. Should i change my course from Marketing Management to Project Management? 2. Will changing of course affect my next application? 2 Shares

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Anon123: 8:08am On Oct 28, 2020 |
lightswitch007:Theres no way creative Director or project director is related to Marketing management which is the reason why purpose of visit was the only reason given. If you decided on a course, make sure its in line with your current experience/job description mostly. Most people study A in bsc and come out working in B field. If you wish to apply for Canadian admission, you must maintain a career progression by applying to courses related to B. In other cases you studied A, graduated and work in the A field, pls maintain programs related in that A field. I say this cos Admission is easy cos schools are more interested in your money but the visa stage is the koko and they dont care if you have millions stack in your account but your intended program isnt related to your present experience. Its a straightforward purpose of visit denial. To answer your question, yes you need to change the course to something related to your experience or job role |

For those that just applied last 2weeks and already asking for updates. FYI, they are people that applied since March, gotten AIP, done medicals and still waiting. Not saying it might apply to you but saying. Theres a standard processing time for applications and it increases or reduces based on the amount of applications received. Therefore if you applied last month or this month.. Just forget about the updates and focus on your daily activities. If you get an update, you email will beep you. Do not anticipate immediate responses. 5 Likes |

Anon123: Thank you Anon123, I thought about it when i choose Marketing Management, because i wanted a career path to be the Marketing Project Manager of my company but with refusal i think i need to change course to Project Management. I was just worried the officer might think i am not a bonafides student to change my course after a refusal. |

Hello house, Welcome to all the new members. I noticed most people don’t like reading the thread. They just post their questions and go away. Please note that this thread is filled with every information you will need for your study permit application. Also note that it’s not a crime to ask questions, but please also put in effort. Read the thread from page one till the end and also read previous threads. You can ask questions and people will answer but you wouldn’t get so much information compared to when you read the whole thread yourself. This journey is not for the weak. You need to put in effort please. May we all reach our goals. Best wishes 9 Likes |

Blessedlarry: Q1) Theres no age limit to education but for your wife of 34 going for another bsc in canada, she will get the admission but I can tell you in all honesty, she won't get the visa, her denail reason will be purpose of visit, so I will suggest she goes for either a PGD or a masters related to her bsc or current job experience. Q2) There are no cheap schools in canada within anybody's budget. University for masters tuition ranges from 25-40kcad while college PGDs ranges from 14-20k cads. Q3) you can but from peoples experience, I will advise your wife goes alone, you and your kids will stand in as her hometies m. When she gets there, you can apply for a spousal work permit that gives you the chance to work in canada as long as your wife stays in canada while she kids get the chance to go to school there. Q4)you can do it yourself if you are ready to reqd the thread from start. You can always ask questions if you want but dont expect line by line explanations. Few gurus might not have the time which is why they encourage you read the thread 4-5mil can't get you to canada. You will need more. You need at least your 1st year tuition plus 10,000cad in your account to show you have the financial capabilities to take care of your fees plus living expenses (thats where the 10,000cad applies) |
