Delejumi: The current head of the wto is Roberto Azevêdo. He wasn’t favoured by the US when he ran back in 2013. The US favoured the Mexican candidate. So did the EU. But Roberto Azevêdo came up consensus candidate regardless. No veto or arm twisting The issue with trump is that, first, is he is racist without a doubt. Next, he has little to no regard for Africa. With this logic, neither Kofi Annan nor Boutrois Ghali would have emerged UN Sec gen. NOI is the most qualified candidates and short of a veto by racist trump (if that’s even possible), will emerge victorious 3 Likes 1 Share |

Despite all IPOB support and defend of Donald Trump actions. He still see one of them as mere black not worthy of holding important position in international level. |

THUNDER4real:Simple, and thank you... My plan was simply to drop my comment and abandon this thread as the ignorance is too much to start correcting one by one. In what universe will the United States ever pick a Nigerian over a South-Korean, a SOUTH-KOREAN... seriously? Apart from Japan, South-Korea is another strong ally of the US in Asia and the fact that they are more allied with the United States than their cousins in neighbouring China, makes them the strategic choice when you consider the trade war between China and the US. It has nothing to do with Donald Trump – just a matter of strategic alliance and reliability in the long run. An Obama-led government would take this same position, even Biden-led one would do the same. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

GamalNasser: Story. Your intellect is called to question with the narrow narrative you project on this forum. Wont waste a minute comparing intellect with you, Carry go into the slum you crawled out off Yes. This is about Trump. Regardless of the nationality of the candidate, Trump struggles to work with black people, unless where it serves a narrow political purpose. He is racist, like it or not 3 Likes 1 Share |

Never was and never will be my cup of tea I LOL when people like you grandstand on faceless forums. You are deeply ignorant. Forums like these are levellers, and I have no problem with that. Okonjo Iweala is someone who doesn't have a mind of her own. They will use her as a pawn to do a lot of bad things to Africa. This is just one of a few decisions that Trump has taken that I support wholeheartedly. The US should veto her appointment until the other Bloc brings forward a more acceptable, and competent candidate. NOI is trying to sell vaccines, nothing more. Hopefully, the disagreement won't last up till next year when Joe Biden takes office as the 46th POTUS. 1 Like |

Such an irony, negroes sitting 10k Km away in Nigeria spewing misguided support for trump. While 90% of black Americans in Trumps extreme America, have turned to Biden. When Biden wins, it won’t be because they love Biden. It will be simply a vote against trump. America have seen enough and suffered enough! If by a spot of miracle Trump gets a second term, the divisiveness, the dumbing down of America we’ve seen to date will be nothing compared to the next four years! Sensible Americans know this, that is why he will lose! |

It is high-time entire Nigerian citizens rose with the common goal of supporting this woman for her to win the DG WTO... Let's put sentiment and tribalism aside...the woman is more of Nigeria than the US...this is p hatred. most of the reason the US government highlighted for not supporting NOI is not tenable. The US can't be fighting against the effort of our citizens to reach the top echelon of their careers and the present Nigerian government keep folding up her hands and be waiting for the verdicts of shame and failure....never! Our foreign envoy to the UN and the US must rise to the occasion of ensuring this diplomatic bickering against us as a nation is being fought to a standstill. At this juncture, I want to suggest that we should we desist from acquiring any goods or services that have to do with the US for now in protest of this ostentatious hatred meted on one of our citizens that is aspiring for higher careers |

NGpatriot: Is it only US that have eyes to see this things u've mentioned? All the countries that supported her, can also see that she's good enough for the job. The United States has far more criminals than Nigeria,is Trump himself a saint? If they are not thieves, why do they take money from corrupt politicians? The woman is good enough for the job,why take her down because she's from Nigeria. We should sometimes try to see the good in ourselves, not always the bad people say about us. |
