I accidentally saw this website on Google, and then I saw your post by accident
I am Guangzhou native, the following is what I want to express
1. Most local people think that Africans are lazy and do not abide by social rules, so they stay away from Africans. This is an objective phenomenon, not my opinion. The main reason for this phenomenon is cultural differences and the lack of mutual understanding between the two sides. . (In fact, every country has lazy and bad people, you can’t deny 99 hard-working people just because 1 person is lazy)
2. GZ is an inclusive city, as long as you work here legally, you can live here with dignity, no matter where you come from.
3. The best way to eliminate prejudice is to respect each other’s culture and communicate more

Abandoning prejudice and looking for cooperation opportunities will bring better development to both of us
By the way, I have a clothing and jewelry factory in China, is it possible to find cooperation opportunities here?

Btw, I wish you success in your work here

you might b right on certain instances, but truth be told, they don’t think we are lazy they’ve just been told they are better than us, and the fact that they hardly travel out of their home makes them see things only from their own point of views, they are easily controlled by uniformed opinions and believe anything they see online.. u can only communicate with someone who wants to listen to u, not someone who already feels some type of way just by seeing you.. welcome to the thread and to the forum though

If you’re coming to Guangzhou china for the first time as an African, you don’t need to be scared, even if you don’t know anybody, immediately you comeout from the airport, there are taxis outside, I would have said take the metro but it is very complicated for a first timer, so board any of the Taxis And tell them to take you to Guangyuan West road m, in Chinese Guangyuan XI (shi) Lu,
Or Either Xiaobei Lu and Lujing Lu, these places and hotspots where you will find fellow blacks at any time of the day, they are black concentrated areas with black owned businesses, African restaurants, and relatively cheap Hotels. Going from those places to anywhere in Guangzhou is relatively very easy. Tips when getting a taxi at the Airport don’t bargain prices with them just point to their meter and ask them to Use it, going from the airport to any of those places should not cost more than 120rmb toll fees inclusive m, but if you bargain with them they’ll charge u upto 500Rmb cos according to them cheating a foreigner is legal as long as you don’t kill them... I wanted to post pictures to aid a good description of these places but the sizes are to large, I’ll still find a way to resize them though

Transportation and technology in china...
Honestly I need pictures to proper illustrate this topic,
I walked around the city these few days and took some pictures will I’m still finding a way to reduce the sizes I’ll just talk about them a bit
Okay so first of china is a very huge country with so many provinces, I have only lived in 1 province which is Guangdong, and in Guangdong I have lived a bit in Shenzhen and mostly in Guangzhou, so many things I will be talking about will mostly apply to Gz.
In GZ like every other cities the normal means of transportation is buses, trains and Taxi, for taxi they have their own ride Hailing company also Called DiDi
On thing about Gz is that buying. A car is relatively cheap, but if you’re not from GZ and you need a GZ Number plate, you’d have to spend almost same or even more than the amount u spent buying the car. And if you decide to bring a number plate from your City, then you’d be given number of days to be able to drive your car, maybe 3to 4 days a week. That’s the reason most people just prefer to take the metro and taxis and then you’re going to see a lot of electric bike too, even me I have one grin

They did all this cos GZ if just like a more developed Lagos and it’s a business Hub so there are so many people and a lot of cars trust me if the allow everyone drive cars, they won’t be able to control the traffic,
But one thing I love about this people is how they were able to add technology to everything they do, even transportation that’s why I really wanted to talk about this, If your house is far from the nearest metro station with your Alipay or wechat you can easily find Hello bike, mobike or a wechat bike scan the code and the bike unlocks and you can drive to the nearest metro, and you would be charged a little or nothing, they also have one small car called the wechat car, if you have a drivers license you can easily find any of these cars scan the code and drive to wherever you’re going to, and just pack and lock them when you get there, are you also going somewhere and your battery is getting low? You can walk to the nearest shop there are power bank stands almost everywhere, just scan the code with either you wechat and Alipay and you can get one, and find a similar power box anywhere and plug it back in, one thing about this people is they never stop thinking of ways to make life easier for everybody and they keep advancing.
