Una don start again
After 5 games, Osimhen (Milik's replacement) has scored just a goal. undecided
1 goal and 1 assist oga... in 5 games...

Jonathan David has started 8 games, not even an assist.... The coach had to give him a penalty to play just to boost his confidence, the young man still wasted it!

I believe Jonathan David will come good, but this just goes a long way to show us how extraordinary osimhen was

Let's Stop this act of bringing another player down just because we want to praise ours. If Tammy Abraham was in Osimhen's shoe. Una go don dey abuse am.

First half... Napoli no shot on target... By the time Osimhen enter now, they would use him to draw the defenders and create chance for other attackers to score! Too bad they want to turn our monster machine to Firminho

Oga, it's normal in football to compare a player to his predecessor in the same role..

osimhen was tagged Nicholas Pepe's replacement from day one and was constantly compared to him, if not that Osimhen filled the shoes beyond measures.

I'm not trying in any way to bring Jonathan David down... it's just a genuine compare and contrast situation

Almost all Napoli forwards are expert at shooting outside of the box

Then if you guys are trying to compare both Jonathan David first few matches and Osimhen first few matches. It means both have not lived up to expectations. Both are currently below par.

Mediocrity at play here. It's only in Nigeria that the skipper is clubless and the assistant is playing in a 2nd division club

Both cards are not worth it, especially the second.

But Osimhen needs to be calming down. Especially for the first card he received.

Not only in Nigeria.
Giroud is a bench warmer in Chelsea but he will always start in a major competition for France. Bashuayi was part of Belgium's squad in the 2018 world cup but during that time he was not active in any club. I can continue to give you examples.

So, my main point is that , some players are very important to a team no matter what happens in their respective clubs

How is the referee from his village? Both yellow cards were harsh.

What do u say about a referee that chose to make the game about himself. That was his first time talking to the ref and without warning he gave a yellow. Next it was clear that Victor didn't connect and wasn't even intending on doing anything. I just jumped and was carded, what's the justice in that undecided

At least the clown now has his biggest accolade of his career being the first to ever send off Victor Osimhen.

Ndidi and Osimhen are the true leaders in that team.
These very two keep to themselves and their factions when in camp. Not all look up to them like that. The central figure needs that. I think that's why its Musa on the list again. Troost or Akpeyi can, but i doubt.

I must say, Some people have not been really fair on maduka on this thread, that guy deserves to be where he is, his development pace is astonishing, he is very consistent and determined. He might be our most in form keeper now. Lastly he is the foreign born I would say really loves naija, not all these side chick kind of love. If he becomes a Neuer in the future, I know some people will still say that uzoho or alampasu could have been Neuer but were not given the chance.
This one na sweet talk. It would never be said for a local. We both know it. Would the Enyimba goalie get such trust irrespective of league, age or calibre? This one ma Favouritism. For Rohr, its never been hidden.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by benji93: 1:40am On Oct 30, 2020
Stop this Nonsense. cheesy. Your attempt at making Maduka into a victim of abuse is quite pathetic. cheesy. First bolded. What does that even mean? Are you just out of statements to support your case? You must not have been following the discussion on Maduka. The crux of it has always been that, Rohr should be giving other goalkeepers the same amount of chance. It's that simple. If you do so, and he still comes out better than the rest, then he truely deserves his position. Did you just call him our most inform goal keeper? You mean the same person that just got his first role between the sticks in a cup match a few days ago. Second bolded. What!. Are you this naive? I would say he really loves Nigeria?En. I could argue that he's got no choice than to love Nigeria. Na Germany go call am up? They are all sidechicks, abeg. On a good day, none of these folks would choose Nigeria over Germany. Monkeys play by their sizes. They are all side chicks abeg. The lad knows his level, so he connected as early as possible. Very smart guy if you ask me. cheesy grin.
