"The recent rise of Islamophobia in the West is an unfortunate reminder that many misconceptions and stereotypes surround Islam, Muslims, and the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). With 1.8 billion followers across the globe, Islam is an Abrahamic religion centered around the belief in God (Allah) and his prophets. Islam’s holy text, the Quran, calls on Muslims to follow God’s rules and seek peace—fitting, given that the name of the religion means “peace” in Arabic. Despite this core tenant of peace, Islam is often linked to wars, hate, and terrorism due to media misrepresentation, ignorance, and harmful stereotypes. Islamophobia is sometimes a response to the horrific acts extremists such as ISIS have carried out in the name of Islam. But extremists do not represent the entire religion, and the overwhelming majority of Muslims strongly reject terrorism, hate, and discrimination. Racism is also a factor in the prevalence of Islamophobia and the harmful stereotypes of Muslims and Islam. Muslims around the world suffer from both overt and concealed racism, which does not always receive as much attention as other forms of discrimination. Racist and Islamophobic people often justify their discrimination with freedom of speech. However, freedom of speech is not an invitation to attack others’ existence. The best way to avoid discriminating against others is to learn more about their principles. We present below nine interesting facts about Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that you might not know about from MWN" 9 Likes 1 Share |

On the first accusation: Where is your proof to this ? On the the second accusation: Allah says "then marry other women of your choice—two, three, or four. But if you are afraid you will fail to maintain justice, then ˹content yourselves with˺ one" Q4.3 Marrying four wives is a command from the Almighty. Concerning the story of Prophet Muhammad refusing Ali (his son- in-law) to marry Bint Abu-jahl is not because of Fatimah but because her father Abu Jahl is severe enemy of Allah. 'Ali bn. Husain reported that when they came to Medina from Yazid b. Mu'awiya after the martyrdom of Husain b. 'Ali (Allah be pleased with him) Miswar b. Makhramah met him and said to him: Is there any work for me which you ask me to do? I said to him: No. He again said to me: Would you not give me the sword of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) for I fear that the people may snatch it from you? By Allah, if you give that to me, no one would be able to take it away, so long as there is life in me. Verily 'Ali b. Abi Talib sent a proposal of marriage to the daughter of Abu Jahl in spite of (the fact that his wife) Fatima (had been living in his house). Thereupon I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) say while addressing the people on the pulpit. I was adolescing in those days. He said: Fatima is a part of me and I fear that she may be put to trial in regard to religion. He then made a mention of his son-in law who had been from the tribe of 'Abd Shams and praised his behaviour as a son-in-law and said: Whatever he said to me he told the truth and whatever he promised he fulfilled it for me. I am not going to declare forbidden what is lawful and make lawful what is forbidden, but, by Allah, the daughter of Allah's Messenger and the daughter of the enemy of Allah can never be combined at one place. advocatejare: 17 Likes |

Firstly,You don't just quote or read hadith anyhow! It is no beans! go arabic school and learn 'Mistalahul Hadith' if you must quote hadith! Secondly i've read the Sharh(exegesis) of this Hadith. It is clear in Arabic. It seems the only problem you have is the phrase "he bought him for two slaves" literarily, how does this phrase mean equating two black slaves to one? Lets do simple illustration with this: Is it he bought him for the purpose/work of two slaves? or he bought him for money of two slaves?Or he bought him with two slaves? The answer to this is; he manumitted with him with two other black slaves. STOP QUOTING HADITH WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: There came a slave and pledg- ed allegiance to Allah's Apostle ﷺ on migration; he (the Holy Prophet) did not know that he was a slave. Then there came his master and demanded him back, whereupon Allah's Apostle ﷺ said: Sell him to me And he bought him for two black slaves, and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a free man) Lastly concerning Bilal: Abu Bakri Radiyalah anhu manumitted him after the Apostle of Allah commanded him do so. go and read Wikipedia of Bilal it is there with hadith 13 Likes |

Lukgaf: Lukgaf did I read right where you said Muslims are allowed to marry into/from other religions? Brother, you're a big LIAR just like your demonised prophet. If your copy of the Quran is incomplete then google Surah 2:221 and check who's lying : Here it is sir: The Quran (2:221)[5] also states, "And do not marry Polytheist women until they believe, And a believing slave woman is better than a Polytheist women, even though she might please you. And do not marry Polytheist men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a Polytheist men, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember". From this verse, it can be understood that Muslim man is not allowed to marry women who is polytheist unless she becomes Muslim. Having all the above verses taken into account, can it be concluded that Muslim men can marry non-Muslim women ? YOU NEED TO LEAVE THAT EVIL RELIGION THAT ONLY ALLOWS TO DEFEND IT BY LYING... Do you see how many lies you have to tell just to defend your prophet 41 Likes 4 Shares |

Just re-read the first line of the first fact again : The founder of Islam... My brother lukgaf, would it be okay then to assume that Islam was never founded by Allah ? You yourself "think" Islam is man-made /invented by a normal human being whose blood was red as yours. 8 Likes |

Realismailakabir:Even Muhammad himself was unable to treat his wives equally as Aisha was his favorite wife. So by that Quran standard, nobody including Muhammad had the requirements to marry more than one wife Concerning the story of Prophet Muhammad refusing Ali (his son- in-law) to marry Bint Abu-jahl is not because of Fatimah but because her father Abu Jahl is severe enemy of Allah. Check hadith below But Muhammad married Safiya whose father and husband were severe enemy of Allah too and didn't consider that his other wives will be hurt? Or that I jealousy can subject them to trial too Sahih Bukhari 4:53:342 Muhammad didn't want rival for Fatima his daughter Narrated By 'Ali bin Al-Husain That when they reached Medina after returning from Yazid bin Mu'awaiya after the martyrdom of Husain bin 'Ali (may Allah bestow His Mercy upon him), Al-Miswar bin Makhrama met him and said to him, "Do you have any need you may order me to satisfy?" 'Ali said, "No." Al-Miswar said, Will you give me the sword of Allah's Apostle for I am afraid that people may take it from you by force? By Allah, if you give it to me, they will never be able to take it till I die." When Ali bin Abu Talib demanded the hand of the daughter of Abi Jahal to be his wife besides Fatima, I heard Allah's Apostle on his pulpit delivering a sermon in this connection before the people, and I had then attained my age of puberty. Allah's Apostle said, "Fatima is from me, and I am afraid she will be subjected to trials in her religion (because of jealousy)." The Prophet then mentioned one of his son-in-law who was from the tribe of 'Abu Shams, and he praised him as a good son-in-law, saying, "Whatever he said was the truth, and he promised me and fulfilled his promise. I do not make a legal thing illegal, nor do I make an illegal thing legal, but by Allah, the daughter of Allah's Apostle and the daughter of the enemy of Allah, (i.e. Abu Jahl) can never get together (as the wives of one man) (See Hadith No. 76, Vo. 5). 2 Likes 1 Share |

"With this radical Islamism, there is a desire openly stated, a methodological organisation which aims to break the rules of the French Republic and to create a parallel order. Separatist at first but with a final goal: to take complete control" - Emmanuel Macron, French President (after terrorist attack). He that has ears, let him hear. 23 Likes 1 Share |

I wish there would be a world where Muslims are on their very own plane of existence, Other Muslims will be reading about them like some anthropological tribe but never come in contact with them. Muslims should have their own planet and leave the rest of the peaceful world alone 49 Likes 4 Shares

If Islam is not discriminates and sees other tribes as equal, why prayers can only be said by only one language? Knowing fully well that God is Almighty, he is omnipotent and hears all languages. So many Islamic adherents do not understand and can't interpret Arab language and reason why they are being misled by some leaders who claimed they understand and can interpret. The biggest problem comes from many Islamic scholars, they sow seeds of discords, hatred in the heart of their followers against others faiths most especially Christian. They forget that, if God allows other religions to exist, no human being can eradicate them. Almost all Muslims are not seeing religion(S) as "personal conviction" but collective "culture/norm/tradition" in which they ready to defend with their last blood. .................If anybody leaves one religion to other, he/she does it own his/her own perils, hence no need to kill/maim such person. This makes Islam run like 'cult like" association. 16 Likes 1 Share |
