To those who are yet to align with fundamentally sound coys on the bourse, wait no more... key in now !! If u are waiting for a deep correction, u just might be in the wait for too long and miss out on clear cut-out opportunities !! Now is that time when the market will tend to make 1-2 step backwards, but follow it up with a 3-4 step forward.(overall trend remains bullish) Again, now is the time to align with some select coys on the bourse. With rates in the fixed income space trending down continuously(current peg @ </=0.5%), the policies from the economic front(the CBN' recent spat of guidelines) plus the combination of surging inflation and a depressed rate environment, u do not require the services of a soothsayer to tell u what can happen to high-yield Nigerian assets. Simply put, the current stand of the Nigerian state is very market-friendly !! Just ensure to align with the healthy assets/coys. It is well. 7 Likes 1 Share |

I know this is d wrong section to post this but posting it in d betting section would be mostly useless giving that most people there have no formal sense of probabilities or expected value. It is a simple betting strategy that may hold value going forward. It is based on the correct score prediction of the football market. Methodology: I collected daily data from Forebet, a site that predicts football outcomes with statistical and machine learning calculations, and ran a simple analysis. I found out that leagues with at least 5 winnings and 17% win rate in the correct score category hold an edge going forwards. Started sep 24th and these are my stats: win = 46 loss = 189 total games = 235 percent win = 20% odds = 10 (meaning that every time I win I get 10 or more times my initial)stake, if i lose i forfeit my stake ) Stake per game = 1000 naira. return so far = 271000 naira (The correct value should be about 80% this number since i should start playing once the logic above (5 win and 17% win rate) is established) There are some doubts sha, the following biases may be at play Confirmation bias, Hindsight bias and limited games at 235. I will probably need to find p-value. I attached an equity curve describing d return distribution for the 235 games, looks beautiful though. 1 Like

ositadima1: These leagues on Forebet have edge currently, but u have to play every single game in the league with constant money to benefit as u don't know which will enter, no need to DM me. Or follow them for a couple of weeks before going live. China Super League (Cn1) Germany 3. Liga (De3) Germany Regionalliga Nord (De4) England Isthmian League (IL) Sudan Premier League (Sd1) Vietnam National Football Second League (Vn3) The shorts in d brackets are d codes used by forebet to track that specific leagues. Good-luck. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 3:31pm On Oct 30, 2020 |
INTBREW: An improved result in my layman's understanding. Q3 EPS dropped to (0.06), no small thanks to income tax which took away more than 60% of the coy profit, they ought to have returned to profitability by now. This regime is not fair to that Sector at all but the regime wouldn't be there forever. This stock should still be on a radar of any investor with cap appreciation in mind. Still a promising stock. This is Mcy's view on this stock. |
