If it is open and close common sense why did Fernando Torres, Fransisco Totti, Raphael Verane and Neymar all wear their countries captain bands at younger ages than Osimhen is at the moment?

Yeah at rare occasions and I'm sure there a reasons behind it, why would you want Osimhen to have the armband with less than 10 caps in the national team?

Osimhen whose personality has not yet fully matured should be made captain because he's your idol. Oga if you want osimhen to be the captain, march down to the eagles camp in November and force Rohr to make him the captain, all these yeye shalaye here won't change a thing!

U are already terming it hate without looking objectively at the facts...
Uzoho and Maduka case are different..
When we called Uzoho from Deportivo B, how many quality goalkeepers did we have available? Where was Almapasu, Yakubu and Tobias? undecided

Nobody said Maduka is a crap player or anything.. the point is that Rohr should have given Alampasu and Yakubu a fair minute of game time to prove their quality just like Maduka got...Because when you put all factors into consideration, Maduka himself hasn't done anything to justify being ahead of those guys..
Huh! Alampasu was available in 2018 did Rohr invite him? Ajiboye did great during CHAN na crime for him to keep for Super eagles? Ezenwa kept 4 of 6 games during qualifiers without making any error loading to goal why wasn't he installed as number one? Uzoho was brought from Deportivo team B straight to super eagles number 1, please tell me what Uzoho did to be made number 1? I remember Rohr even sent the team's GK coach to work with him. Oga na the same thing and the truth is if Maduka was a Naija born player most of you won't bat an eyelid.

Seeing a lot of brothers saying Osimhen's goal was ruled out for offside, when it was actually because the free-kick taker took two touches before delivering the cross.

Also, Osimhen was not carded for the actual fouls but his reaction to both fouls.

You guys Leave this offside talk and focus on the next napoli game

Rubbish nonsense talk. How long has Ekong been in the team? U people only make decisions based on characters u like.

I want soldiers on my side when I enter battle. Why can't he be a captain? Show me an example of true leadership shown by any other member of the team.

Nigerians should stop being p*ssys. Is he picking on people or standing up for himself? Leon clattered him in training and he stood up for himself, simple as that.

He is the realest leader on the super eagles. He makes sure they play the game the right way and he won't allow anyone get messed with. The rest don't have the characteristics to lead a country like Nigeria.

Well it’s not by how long have you been on the team sha ,Thiago has captained Chelsea this season and we all know he just joined

I don’t know the beginning of this arguement but osimhen is not a leader and should not be a captain Biko ,there is balogun there .

that's the most sensible thing for this our partially annoying coach to do. I don't know if there are rules for three keepers to be present though. Remember this is a fifa game.

Balogun has not been on the team longer than Omeruo or Musa so u are contradicting yourself.

If we are going by caps we know who to give it to. If we are going by how long, we also know that one. But what we have here is who like who.

No be by who don tay for team nah Haba ,you don already talk am up there

I am proud to say that a boy that made it from selling pure water on the streets of Lagos into being one of the most sort after football players in the world is my idol. Yes I am totally in love with the character and personality of Victor James Osimhen. If we were all like him Nigeria would be able better country.

The real question here is who do u have as an idol? Is it politicians who steal from you? Or religious leaders who lie to you? Im all in with the guy, he is my LeBron James and Michael Jordan.

I'm not contradicting myself, you don't just give captain's armband to somebody with less than 10 caps in the team

You don't give it to the most capped either, but the person handling the armband must have considerable experience with the team, it's not either one or the other

You can give someone captain with less than 10 caps as far as there is a leadership qualities in the person

Thiago Silva should be chelsea 3rd captain if I am not mistaken

This type of talk is why children go into Yahoo business. Instead of focusing on them u dey talk about their mates. Wetin concern Osimhen with Dortmund for christ sakes? Anybody who thinks a striker's job is only to score goals doesn't know football especially when played in Italy.

Just imagine u saying he not there to create chances. So if he creates a chance and they win the match is that a bad thing? If a foreign media outlet tells u it is can't u use your brain and figure out it is not?

Basco you self don Dey vex

garbage write up!. How many chances the so called creative players has made for Osimhen? Those creative players that dont even know how to pass the ball but to shoot direct at goal na that one be creative. The only way osimehn can score goal is to create the Chances for himself like he did agaisnt Atalanta cos those Werey players not ready to create chances for him at all. They want to score.. Finito

Don’t mind the yeye write up

be calming down. Osimhen won't captain the Super eagles anytime soon. At least not until the team is made up of his mates or till you become the SE coach wink. So while you wait, you can make him national team captain of your PES or FIFA game. You wouldn't need to shalaye there smiley

I absolutely agree with you. Balogun is a real dawg but I was just proving a point. U can't say u want the longest serving player to be captain and then call for Leon.

I love Leon btw. Osimhen reminds me of him. I think that's why it was really easy for them to fight.

When did Fernando Torres captain Spain ?

Someone who played For the Spanish team at the same time with iniesta Xavi ,Alonso Ramos ,there won’t be about 5 senior players in the field for Torres to be captain

Totti was a worthy captain nah but behind Buffon canavarro ,del peiro

Neymar was Brazil best player and one of the best players in the world that’s why he was captain ,same way Messi was handed the captain band from mascherano

Who told you all these players wore the captain armband at younger age than osimhen ? The last time I checked osimhen is 21 and not 26

I still don't understand why Azeez should be on the standby list. It was glaring we had issues with the midfield in the friendlies. Despite the great game Aziz had in the couple of matches under Rohr, not up to 45 mins over 2 games and having a huge impact even registering a solid assist, Rohr still ignored him, na wa o. For me it is disappointing.

Azeez should not even be on any list

He is injured and he hasn’t play Grenada last 4 games or so

So why do you want him in the team ?

He should recover from injured biko

Uzoho did well at club level before he was called to the national team... 2 laliga appearances too.
Maduka had conceded a ridiculous number of goals while playing in the German first division... That doesn't justify the decision to push him ahead of the likes of Alampasu and Yakubu..

The foreign born thing is from your own imagination...there's no truth in it...A lot of people here clamoured for the call of foreign born players many times..
Is Akpoguma not foreign born? undecided . What did u say when lots of people here were suggesting that he should be in our starting XI already? undecided

Ok if he's indeed injured, but we all agreed we suffered with our midfield in the friendlies. Recall Aribo also hasn't really had it great in Africa yet so we want to make sure we have a strong bench. Hopefully Rohr uses Onyeka appropriately in the midfield and not try all his experiments.
