BascoVanVeli: Yeah at rare occasions and I'm sure there a reasons behind it, why would you want Osimhen to have the armband with less than 10 caps in the national team? |

BascoVanVeli:Osimhen whose personality has not yet fully matured should be made captain because he's your idol. Oga if you want osimhen to be the captain, march down to the eagles camp in November and force Rohr to make him the captain, all these yeye shalaye here won't change a thing! 3 Likes |

Danielnino00:Huh! Alampasu was available in 2018 did Rohr invite him? Ajiboye did great during CHAN na crime for him to keep for Super eagles? Ezenwa kept 4 of 6 games during qualifiers without making any error loading to goal why wasn't he installed as number one? Uzoho was brought from Deportivo team B straight to super eagles number 1, please tell me what Uzoho did to be made number 1? I remember Rohr even sent the team's GK coach to work with him. Oga na the same thing and the truth is if Maduka was a Naija born player most of you won't bat an eyelid. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: Well it’s not by how long have you been on the team sha ,Thiago has captained Chelsea this season and we all know he just joined I don’t know the beginning of this arguement but osimhen is not a leader and should not be a captain Biko ,there is balogun there . 2 Likes 1 Share |

JohnBullMySon: I am proud to say that a boy that made it from selling pure water on the streets of Lagos into being one of the most sort after football players in the world is my idol. Yes I am totally in love with the character and personality of Victor James Osimhen. If we were all like him Nigeria would be able better country. The real question here is who do u have as an idol? Is it politicians who steal from you? Or religious leaders who lie to you? Im all in with the guy, he is my LeBron James and Michael Jordan. 2 Likes |

andrewbaba44: I absolutely agree with you. Balogun is a real dawg but I was just proving a point. U can't say u want the longest serving player to be captain and then call for Leon. I love Leon btw. Osimhen reminds me of him. I think that's why it was really easy for them to fight. |

BascoVanVeli: When did Fernando Torres captain Spain ? Someone who played For the Spanish team at the same time with iniesta Xavi ,Alonso Ramos ,there won’t be about 5 senior players in the field for Torres to be captain Totti was a worthy captain nah but behind Buffon canavarro ,del peiro Neymar was Brazil best player and one of the best players in the world that’s why he was captain ,same way Messi was handed the captain band from mascherano Who told you all these players wore the captain armband at younger age than osimhen ? The last time I checked osimhen is 21 and not 26 |

jihday: Uzoho did well at club level before he was called to the national team... 2 laliga appearances too. Maduka had conceded a ridiculous number of goals while playing in the German first division... That doesn't justify the decision to push him ahead of the likes of Alampasu and Yakubu.. The foreign born thing is from your own imagination...there's no truth in it...A lot of people here clamoured for the call of foreign born players many times.. Is Akpoguma not foreign born? . What did u say when lots of people here were suggesting that he should be in our starting XI already? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by AndSunGorilla: 3:22pm On Oct 30, 2020 |
andrewbaba44: Ok if he's indeed injured, but we all agreed we suffered with our midfield in the friendlies. Recall Aribo also hasn't really had it great in Africa yet so we want to make sure we have a strong bench. Hopefully Rohr uses Onyeka appropriately in the midfield and not try all his experiments. |
