Menh I can't forget that fateful day I had only 50 naira in my entire life and was going to Festac town from Ijesha for an appointment.
I used 30 naira for t/fare hoping I'll be back with good news but the result is a story for another day.
I trekked in the hot sun of Lagos from Festac town down to Ijesha with my mind already spending the last 20 naira on garri, groundnut and probably sugar when I get home after the long trekking but something strange happened.
When I got to Ijesha bus stop, getting ready for the final trekking to my street which is like five kilometers from the bus stop, I saw this blind man with his daughter begging, and when I looked at d man, he looked straight to my eye and was begging for something from me.
Initially when I saw that blind man, I felt very grateful that I was a lucky guy,I felt pity and decided to move on with my 20 naira, I would av given him something but it was the last one on me.
Do you know that I ve to trek back from my street after successfully getting to my house to the bus stop just to give that same 20 naira to that blind man? Because my conscience would not let me rest from that moment I set my eye on the blind man...it was telling me, "you can do better by giving that 20naira to the blind man", I thought it was a joke until I submitted.
After that I saw myself crying unconsciously, trekking back home weak, hungry and without hope, but that's not the end of my story.

The following, someone I d never believed will help me, came to my house and took me to his place of work.... Same day, I was interviewed, same day I got my appointment letter, next day...
I started working in that company and the rest is history.
this is super story

I have been there and currently, the level of me being broke is just unbearable. It sounds weird but we just had oil and salt as our dinner even to buy garri is an issue. But, hearing my sweet sister cry of ulcer do shatter my heart and I believe all this will end soon. I can't even boast of a thousand naira in my account. Honestly story long but I want those set of people, including myself to believe that once there is life, there is hope for a better tomorrow and never forget that God's plan for us all are of good and not of evil.
What's wrong with your sister?

Lack of funds to eat which led to her suffering from ulcer. It's just so pathetic.
Re: Share Your Worst Broke Moments Experiences In Life by Olayinka8793(m): 11:05pm On Oct 30, 2020
I don't think l have ever been broke in the true sense of the word in my entire adult life as l am still single with no marital responsibility and my modest barbing saloon business ensures that money flows in everyday, no matter how small even if na 1k l made on a particular day.
But l remembered when l was still a teenager that just finished secondary school and went to live with an elder bro of mine in another state.
As per say l dey live with him and depend on him those times, it is not funny at all anytime he goes broke cos the type of job he does is not one that bring money consistently.
I don experience bastard hunger so tey l ate nothing from morning to night with no hope for the next day.
I don drink garri thrice a day for two days straight until God saw us and provided money for better foodstuff.
We bought foodstuffs on credit so much such that shame always catch me whenever l am sent on errand to buy garri on credit.
I no longer live with him sha and things are much better for him and me too. My greatest wish is that non of my future kids ever experience the type of sufferness and hunger l experienced, reason why l am hustling so hard now before even thinking of girlfriend despite being 27 years old.
God no go shame us.

If half of Nigeria could be like you, the whole of Nigeria would have been better.

There are numerous people who need help. Those are the two who spoke up.

What I did was nothing. Yes, I may be in need but he was more needy. I had to. I could manage till Monday but maybe he couldnt.

Anybody with a good conscience will do the same.

You can help me too -- by offering me a freelance writing job. I like to work for money so I can value it.

If you have a writing job,
