We call on the Nigerian Army to exercise restraint and embrace civility even as they carry out their official roles. It is crucial that we do not have lives wasted for no just reasons We the younger generation in one voice there by the military commander, Tukur Buratai and the entire Nigerian military to exercise restraint in their actions God bless the people 47 Likes 4 Shares |

The same army that has been routed by boko haram for 10 years with massive resignation and soldiers crying on social media has now found its footing in Oyigbo. wonders shall never cease !!!! Watch Rivers state in the next few years and remember how they used the military to intimidate its citizens, oil price is presently at $37 and wll likely go down as the developed nations go into their second round of isolation and lock down 210 Likes 11 Shares |

Apparently, the weapon snatching ipob terrorists have a variety show of force scheduled for today to clear any doubts. I trust OyigboUpdate to deliver the highlights. My concerns are with the innocent and I hope they aren't caught in the crossfire. **** The very interesting thing is that when a thread was opened by Arrewa where he and some of us were lamenting about the attacks on innocent Northerners in Oyigbo & the deliberate media blackout, these same elements now screaming to the ceilings were trying to bury the incident & were screaming FAKE NEWS all over the thread, all in a futile bid to hide IPOB's true violent terrorist nature. 42 Likes 12 Shares |

I've said it several times that Wike is both Idi Amin and Buhari rolled into one. he is a deadly dictator, he is flexing all this muscle as a governor, imagine him being the president 152 Likes 12 Shares |

I sympathize with the innocent ones caught in the imbroglio between the millitary and Ipob. That said, it is interesting seeing the quietude in the South East in the face of what is happening. So much so that one Gidgiddi who prides himself as an Igbo leader on the forum waved it aside saying FORGET WIKE. It is now obvious Igbos react to the death of Igbos depending on who is responsible for the killing. We saw it with Peter Obi when he killed tens of Igbos in Akwuzu, and now Wike. They even seemed more concerned about the incident at Lekki than this in Rivers, with nearly all Lekki threads running into no less than 8 pages!! We live in very interesting times. 109 Likes 17 Shares |

omenka: So you noticed it too? One was more concerned about the bandits in Zamfara than his fellow Igbos in the line of fire in Oyigbo. The others would just be chanting Fulani as if Wike is from Kebbi State. 64 Likes 13 Shares |

Wike is even confused. You said that IPOB members come in from neighbouring state, Abia, and you sent military to go and be torturing your people. So if the people that killed the soldiers and burnt police are not from Abia State, have they not gone back to where they came from? 72 Likes 10 Shares |

tunjion: Besides the issue with the journalist who almost got neat up by the army. Nairaland has deliberately turned it's ears deaf to Oyigbo. There's no doubt the forum is deliberately postured against concerns from a part of the nation. I'm sorry, it's glaring to see.. Its a sad reality.. 27 Likes |

Wike being the tyrannt that he is should remember that being in power is a transient phenomenon hence he will surely answer for all his evil atrocities someday.IPOB is not an ideology you can kill because of your warped thinking. Under whose authority was the army mobilized in Oyigbo? Later, the good for nothing army will shamelessly denied that its men were never involved in the Oyigbo atrocities. The onslaught of the Navy Seals ystdy ought to have been a moment of sober reflection for them. 15 Likes 5 Shares |
