Of course, apart from the government house no level
Port Harcourt with all the billions received from oil revenue since 1999 should be rivaling Cape Town,Windhoek, and Johanessburg. Majority of the money that should be used for development is sitting in politicians and their fronts accounts.

You may be partly right, but at least you can see massive infrastructural developments going on in PORT HARCOURT. I saw this video yesterday, it made frontpage. Wike is doing about 5 of this a across the city.

The problem of Port Harcourt is the north using Rivers state as their ATM. The fulanis are killing the south south.

Don't celebrate mediocrity, there is no reason why Port Harcourt should not rival Windhoek,Capetown or Johanessburg atter 20 years of democratic rule and receiving 13% oil derivation.

Enugu was already a provincial centre for eastern region, even PORT HARCOURT was under that province, but you dare not compare PH with Enugu today, that's how to measure development. This road(IWOFE ROAD) is not even the city centre of PORT HARCOURT but a suburb low class area of the city. And someone would be proud to post nonsense for a town like Enugu that has existed for over 100yrs. Enugu is a mess.

This is GRA PORT HARCOURT, can you compare it to the nonsense Enugu GRA? Mind you PH was under the province of Enugu during the region government in the 60s and 70s

Anytime I'm in PH I pity Rivers state as a whole, to think that she is the only livable place in the entire state.
I think the main problem with Rivers state is their over ethnic consciousness. For example, an average ikwerre man cares less even if other parts of Ikwerre land is not developed so far a fellow ikwerre man is in power. Oyigbo man doesn't just give a Bleep as an Ogoni and okirika doesn't smell the government seat even if it means no attention in their land with the ikwerre led government.
The easiest way to know that you are in Rivers state or portharcourt is the constant affirmation of your ethnicity by locals.
You speak, they will affirm your tribe. You sit, same. You eat, same.
They are too ethnic conscious

Fly over is not the hallmark of development.
Serenity I think is the most important following access to basic amenities which I believe Enugu city scores A1 in these aspects.
Can such be said about ph?
Serenity, pH scores almost zero because of high rate of pollution these days which I cant tell where they are coming from.
PH scores high in basic amenities but traffic won't allow you to gain access to them which is the reason for all these fly overs.
Mind you, I'm from Anambra which I think might be the reason why fly overs are no big deal in my eyes because we play with such down here.
Enugu does not have traffic issues to make them to be looking for fly overs.
