Happens. Thing is, everyone has a genetic limit. There is a certain weight category we all will peak at and never pass.

Usually, the way to adding weight starts with getting more calories than you burn - if it doesn't work after being consistent and patient, you can assume that it's your genes at work!

In honestly, I used to be a gym junkie. I'd run about 12km every morning and end up in the gym pumping weights. Now my work schedule makes this impossible. I take a look at my beer belly, look at my old pictures and truly feel like crying. Oh how the mighty has fallen.

Back to the topic, truly belly fat is the hardest to loose, as a former gym rat I always laugh whenever I see all these quick fix slimming teas and pills. Those are not just fake, but can be hazardous to health.

I always tell anyone that cares to listen, no matter how tight one's schedule is, you will definitely create time for the things you love doing. In my dictionary, real men must never be fat. Muscles were made for us. I can't just picture myself being fat with a beer belly, GOD FORBID. This journey is till I hit the grave, no jokes.

Well, I can tell you that there are drugs which can actually make people lose weight significantly, but as soon as you stop taking them, you start gaining weight rapidly.

I'm writing from personal experience. My ex used to sell and use some of the pills. They work, but they're extremely dangerous to health.

A lot of people have been driven to suicide after using the pills for some time.

I didn't discard all that just to get slim. I had health issues and had being on drugs for years. So the doctor prescribed a one week detox for me to clean my internal organs. For that one week, I took only natural juices mixed with essential oils and ate fruits only once a day. I continously used the loo throughout the one week and I threw up once. I felt healthy after the procedure even though I lost only 2kg. But by the time I kept strictly to the diet I was given for three weeks, I lost a lot of weight. Slowly other food groups will be introduced to the diet but in small portions. I don't eat later than 6pm. And I drink lots of water.

see yourself.....coffe isn't recommendable by most dieticians cos of it high caffeine.black tea or mostly green tea are highly recommend....fruits and vegetables are also recommended for detoxification,energy ,rejuvenation of the system and contains almost zero calories

There's nothing hard about putting on size at all even if you're a hard gainer. Yes it might take a little time unlike a regular person who can gain weight easily.

Ok let's say you're eating enough and you're not gaining weight, you think calories automatocally burn itself?

You must be doing something which burns the calories. It's either you're the type that engages in a lot of activities. Probably going and coming back from work you trek. Calories are being burnt in the process. In any activity you engage in calories are burnt.

So everything boils down to either you're not eating enough calories or you're doing more cardio activities which burns up the calories.

No matter how much calories you eat, if you burn more calories than you eat you will never gain weight and size.

So to gain weight you have to keep track of how many calories you consume and how many calories being burnt.

Let's say you consume a 2500 calories daily. Weigh yourself on a weekly basis and see if the weight goes up, if it doesn't increase your calories intake to 2700 calories and see what happens. This is what you have to do till you start seeing changes on the scale and make sure you're not burning more calories.

To keep track of how many calories you eat,you can simple weigh out your meals on a food scale and know how many gram each macros(Carbs,protein,fats) on your meal weigh.

To know how many calories is in each macros(carbs,protein,fats) check on apps like myfitneespal or Lose it. Select how many grams each food weighs and you'll be shown how many calories is in it.

You can also check it manually by multiplying the macros(carbs,protein and fats) by 4,4,9.

Carbs 4

Potein 4

Fats 9.

To keep track on how many calories you burn you can download apps or a watch that keeps Track of your daily step.

So nothing is complicated about gaining weight or losing weight even. Just do the basis and you're good to go.

If not for tight schedules i could asked anyone having challenges gaining weight or losing weight to mail me so i can set up a meal plan for them and monitor them for like week and they will begin to see a difference.

are u mixing intermittent fasting with religious fasting?.

if u don't know why fruits ,vegetables and teacoffee are taken during fasting,then u need to know.....they are usually taken for energy and for the body to properly absolve the nutrients in them faster ,which is needed for rejuvenation of the system... fasting alone is anti-biotic and build the immune systems .. taking fruits and vegetables or tea during faster. even increase the benefits of fasting hundred folds

u are clearly mixing religious fasting with intermittent/diet fasting

You are absolutely right. There is no shortcut to losing weight other than through exercise and eating clean.

You're missing the part where some people have high metabolic rates and may not add as much as they want to - whether they get the calories right or not

And after running the 12km u go come dey lift weight cheesy.guy no overwork ur body oo in the name of fitness grin.and as for the beer belly u now have maybe u should just cut down on ur portions if its not alcohol that is the cause.like someone said above me just cut down ur portions and eat them different times rather than eating eating everything at once and getting too stuffed.

I'm not the guyyou quoted, but I read about a Pakistani guy who lost weight. His exercise regimen was running 12 km daily....6 in the am, 6 in the pm. Occasionally did extra when he succumbed to temptation aand ate something he shoulun't.

some of these slim teas actually works.. Don't wanna name names cos have really tried it and went from 109 to 96....but where people miss it is this.. When you use a slim tea, aid it with exercise and when you want to withdraw from using slim tea, withdraw gradually and not at once... I once use a slim tea and after about 20mins of exercise, it start reacting after 6hrs.. What you will stool is purely mucus or fat as you will like to call it

well the pakistani guy u talked about i bet his motivation of running 12km everyday was to lose weight and u will surely lose a lot of weight doing such an exercise routine everyday.lets say someone who is not fat engage in 12km run everyday withing a month such a person will look extremily emerciated excepts he eats more to counter the one he has lost through such a long journey on foot.Apart from that punding on foot on such a long journey will take a toll on ur body and how u going to cope doing such an exercise routine if u doing a 9-5 job.that means u will always be coming to ur work place late cheesy.If u not a professional marathoner i believe 6km or even a 3km run ok.At least running is good for strenghtning the heart muscles and the lungs and other advantages as well.But u can include ur 12km or even 27km runs(marathon) once in a well maybe at weekends and u could do it together with some friends.By the way doing marathon runs is it safe doing it in nigeria? just asking with high rate of insecurity in the country.

just do internment fasting while your dinner and breakfast should be totally fruits like garden eggs,apple carrot cucumber etc and drink green or black tea in the morning too.....



The best way. Back when I was trying to lose weight, I eat only dinner; technically once a day. It worked.
