Enugu is not a mess

However, OP laid emphasis on more developed parts of the state

But that doesn't make Enugu a mess.

Oga keep quiet, you're just a low budget politician.
In all of the roads Op showed, how many were built or has been repaired by this God forsaken government.

Mind you, before u criticize Buhari, Hold these criminal governors first

Trans AMADI road PORT HARCOURT
Hello, Trans Amadi Port Harcourt is a veeery dirty place to talk about okay.
I live close to Slaughter Bus stop. The dirt on the tarred roads alone can kill a fetus. They dump wastes on the road and those wastes can stay there for up to three days and even overflowing into the main road.

That is what you are bringing to the world to see.

A clean and sustained environment is a function of the educational level of its citizens.

In this age of climate change, this is quite commendable.

I hope the ministry of environment in Lagos will take these into account as Lagos streets have declined so much.

Tbh it seems like every state in Nigeria has that "place" (or places) if you know what I mean, where everything looks beautiful and is picture worthy. But then the moment you start going into the inner cities, and smaller towns, you see the ugly, neglected parts. While this is good and should be commended, I'm more concerned with the experience of the average resident, not just in Enugu but in every state in Nigeria at large.

Ebonyi and oga umahi are already aware and have been doing this for 3 years now.

It is a good look on enugu's part. It shows one of a societal maturity. Kudos.

Did you post high or low-density area of Onitsha? You can argue with yourself.

Again, i don't measure d*cks with touts. Onitsha has its advantages, however, lack of city planning and a culture of tree planting especially in the high-density areas makes its beauty very difficult to see. Same with Aba. But Aba is doubly inflicted with lack of proper waste management too.

Please post your port-Harcourt distracting pics. We are here to enjoy Enugu pics in this thread, so we skip over distracting posts here. In Port Harcourt thread, we will likewise skip Enugu pictures posted there to distract us from enjoying the developments in Port Harcourt.

Bottom line, jealousy is a disease. What i love most is that none of you can change anything by denying the fact about what Enugu has managed to become despite the oppression it faced in Nigeria. It would be a better use of your time if you imbibe the best practices here to implore your governor to develop your state, than always a culture of jealousy and pull him down syndrome of Nigerians.
what is in enugu that one will be jealous of? grin grin

Enugu and Owerri used to be in this level in terms of beauty and aesthetics but Enugu was lucky to have Sullivan Chime as governor for 8 years unlike the mad man called Rochas who ruled Imo State for 8 years, and as if that wasn't bad enough, the Supreme Court removed Emeka Ihedioha we voted for to correct Rochas's maladministration only to replace him with his worst version.

Only God can help us in Imo State now because asking us to wait until 2023/24 to vote him out is not good enough. This impostor remaining in Douglas House for another 3 years will do irreparable damage on Imo State.
You speak my mind

This is just one spot in front of the government house Enugu. The only people that are deceived are the ones that doesn't know Enugu

Don't mind the capital fool.

That roundabout including the fountain has always been maintained by that bank which has it's logo there. For more than 14 years, to the best of my knowledge.

The beauty which people allude to Enugu, was enhanced by Sullivan Chime's government. Projects were completed, roads and streetlights installed without fan-fare or sycophantic noises. A very far cry from what we have now.

Our environments say a lot about our level of development. I think that its high time Nigerian governments at different levels should start making conscious efforts towards development our states infrastructure as well as its aesthetics.

Enugu is one state that has sustained their efforts in this regard. We also want the residents, landlords and tenants to go a step further in making our cities in every state to be beautiful. We love beauty.

Calabar in the time of Donald was better than this.

Meanwhile, See the moment Nnamdi Kalu "proofs" to Dele Momodu that the man in Aso Rock isn't the real Buhari.

Enyi a zukwanuike

I think the OP is just focused on the capital city parts of Enugu, we all know that all states have slumps,

U hv made ur point a long while ago and we hv noted that down. Dropping comments continuously to derail the OP isnt working. I love how matured he is.

At a point u even started posting pictures from Port Harcourt to drive home your point. U are not the only one from Enugu in this forum. Atimes u act matured and move on so you wouldnt be noticed.

I must really commend the OP, i am from enugu, and I really enjoyed the views, you really tried its not easy to drive round and take pictures.

One thing I would really give a thumbs up to the Enugu state government is the work of Enugu State waste management authority.
It has never been better like wat we have now, even during Sullivan's tenure.
Development is a process, I pray the next government focuses on the roads inside the other parts of Enugu that are not within the capital. With time, we will get there.

You're trying to talk sense into a lunatic shocked shocked
Good luck with that futile attempt grin grin

So inorder to please you, he should leave the normal areas and show you some particular slums which are not up to 5 percent of the city.
My brother, detest poverty so it can flee on its own.
This is the same problem I have with flavour, Phyno and Nollywood. When they want to shoot a video in a city, they will waste all their time looking for slums to shoot in because they know Nigerians like slums and poverty
My friend stop being naive, face reality, our government has abandoned these areas I mentioned. Or aren't they part of enugu?
