Those Nigerians that condemned it did not bring tribe or region into it. I have not seen any real Oyigbo indigene that is not happy with the government intervention only ipobian buffoons from Izzi, Abakpa, Umuahia, Aba, Anara etc and those who think they can use it as opportunity to create ethnic chaos in Rivers State.

The name of the place is Obigbo, it used to be in the old Aba province. It was one of the places that was carved out to create Rivers state in 1967. It was renamed Oyigbo by the military authorities after the civil war. A lot of places were renamed in Rivers State after the civil war to give the impression that there were no Igbos indigenous to Rivers State.

Everybody in Nigeria has already been claimed in Nigeria as 'Nigerians'. It is only the Biafran agitators that are saying that referendum should be conducted let everyone decide where they belong.
