The humanitarian crisis in Oyibo, Rivers State is real. For a week now there is 24hrs curfew, nothing goes in or out. Someone I know lost his child because no way to get his pregnant wife to the hospital for delivery. Their doctor had to come to their home with police escort the next day. On getting to the hospital she delivered still birth, the doctor confirmed that the baby was already dead in the womb for almost 24hrs.
Quite sad.

my dear as a medic....the baby didn't die because of the curfew but because of other underlying medical conditions.

Wike has already crossed the line so he and his family members must suffer the consequences.
He has killed 100s of innocent OYIGBO people so he should be ready to face the music when it comes calling on him or his family.

Now regarding your other point about Kanu making wild statements, I am in agreement with that. For many years I have tried to tell his diehard supporters that Kanu can never be my leader because there are characteristics that he lacks that a very essential for the job, and his supporters attacked me in this forum for my constructive criticisms.

For many years I have always written that Kanu should have remained as the director of Radio Biafra, and let the real creators of IPOB, lead the group in a civilized manner. Not now that keke drivers and loads riders are running the show.

Wike has just proven himself to be a keke driver sort of leader, just like Kanu. This episode has hopefully helped in exposing both individuals, but the bounty on Wike must stand. Human life must be respected

u are a big liar....hundreds of people did not die...

Of course! If anyone claims that IPOB killed Policemen or Army, tell us their names, rank, show us their pictures(not necessarily their dead body) and more importantly, tell us the details of how they were killed and the corroborating evidence that it was IPOB that did the killing

Many Nigerians may not know it but one of ways the authorities have been using to frame up people for many years is the claim that they were killed when no such thing happened

Gone are the days when people just believe anything the authorities say just because it is the authorities that said it.

if so...no ipob member was killed.....

Most Nigerians are dumbass fools. Even the so-called journalists in the mold of Dele Momodu are patented dunces. I really wondered who wrote above crap for public consumption. If dumbass stiffs who pass as journalists in Nigeria are too lazy to verify what they represent to the public, they should limit their junk journalistic shenanigan on the activities of deluded Nigeria army instead of silly attempts to add twists to the matter. There is absolutely nothing strange in the name of places such as "Waji Down Below,’ ‘kom-kom,’ ‘Mbano camp,’ and ‘Obeama.’. Nwaji or Waji, Kom-Kom, Mbano and Obeama are everyday names and communities in Obigbo LGA. Kom-Kom village or community has been in existence since the Europeans visited Africa and existed since I learnt to call papa. Nigeria cannot tell the history of Nigerian eastern railway line without the mention of Kom-Kom and Obeama. I used to ride to Eke Obeama to buy sugar cane in good old days. One wonders where the idiotic author and collaborator of the murderous Nigerian army and Wike cull the idea that Kom-Kom and Obeama were strange name of places in Obigbo LGA.

Oga you be munmu o chei....abeg read again

"However sources also said that the military has been making terrible discoveries in some hideouts with terrible names like ‘Waji Down Below,’ ‘kom-kom,’ ‘Mbano camp,’ and ‘Obeama.’

It is the "terrible discoveries' in your ipob hideouts located in THESE PLACES with unusual names that is the issue. Go back to jss 2 for more lessons on comprehension.

Your leader preach violence you embrace him and you want everyone to treat you like best child in the country.

You cannot imagine my shock to learn during this crisis that it is actually Oyigbo and not Obigbo, a name I had know since around 2008 was a wrong name?
Really strange.
IkwerrePikin:

Oga it’s Oyigbo not Obigbo what is wrong with you igbos?

You see how you invite hatred for your people?

How can you rename a local govt area oyigbo to obigbo?

What kind of expansion is that? Is South east not enough for you people?

When we call you people attach by force you will get pissed.

The people of Oyigbo have never called it Obigbo or written to the Rivers state house of assembly to change the name to Obigbo, it’s only you igbo migrants that keep calling it Obigbo, what kind of foolishness is that?

Can your little litters of oil pay salaries to all South East states and execute projects?

It simply says that some discoveries (like guns, charms, human parts, criminal items) were made in some hideouts operated by you and your ipod heegoats in these communities. It only mentioned that the names of these communities sound funny or unusual.

That said, it is interesting seeing the quietude in the South East in the face of what is happening. So much so that one Gidgiddi who prides himself as an Igbo leader on the forum waved it aside saying FORGET WIKE.

It is now obvious Igbos react to the death of Igbos depending on who is responsible for the killing.

We saw it with Peter Obi when he killed tens of Igbos in Akwuzu, and now Wike.

They even seemed more concerned about the incident at Lekki than this in Rivers, with nearly all Lekki threads running into no less than 8 pages!!

We live in very interesting times.

I live in oyigbo, kom kom to be precise.
