My brother, for now, na God and CG get final nod. I go disappear from the thread boss. I am a FG employee, though have passion for Customs, age no gree us qualify...lol. The next board meeting will be majorly to confirm the appointment of DCG HRD and DCG TRADOC, as well as other Acting ACGs. The info we are looking for is known to the CG and his PSO, but the last two months of 2020 is not so visible. Please do not lose hope, the political bigwigs have attempted but could not amass the entire slots for the HND/BSC cadre. Without connection, the job still sure for a high number of candidates. FG's ban on employment/replacement does not affect ongoing recruitments in my opinion. You will just hardly hear of fresh recruitments, except from essential services MDAs.

From the meaningful contributions of people on this platform and from my own careful observations, I still maintain that the next board meeting is key here.

From what has been stated, it's clear that there is an acting DCG HRD that is to be confirmed following the next board meeting and I believe it will make more sense for a substantive rather than an acting DCG to oversee the process.

Besides, no matter how powerful the CG is, he will also want to play safe by ensuring that the next phase is sanctioned by the board because he knows that there are powerful people waiting for him to make an error. Part of being powerful is ensuring that you don't expose yourself by making errors.

Again, I am aware that the NCS training facility in Kano has been under renovation for about a month or more in preparation for camping, so like I prefer to maintain, we shouldn't worry ourselves rather we should prepare for the next stage, it will come like a thief in the night.

Everyday takes us closer to where we are going.
