There was ENDSARS protest all over Southern Nigeria. It turned violent on the 20th of October when the Nigerian Army massacred people at Lekki. All over Southern Nigeria, Police Stations were burnt, Properties were destroyed and protesters and Police alike lost their lives.

But Wike was the only Governor who chose politicise the entire issue. Only him went about proscribing people, imposing week long curfew and inviting the military to come. What was it that happend in Rivers state that did not happen in all the states in the South?

He kept saying that IPOB killed 6 Soldiers and 4 Police men but showed no evidence to that effect. To this day, nobody even knows the names, rank or the details of how IPOB managed to kill 6 armed Soldiers and 4 Policemen.

All we have are just blanket statements and unsubstantiated allegations. As a result of Wike's idiotic attitude, more lives and property have been lost and there is still shooting in Obigbo at a time many states are already in clean up stage

Of course we all know this isnt about IPOB. This is just a calculated attempt by Wike to look politically appealing to the North ahead 2023.
