jesusjnr2020: I don’t know if we read the same article, the guy supported civil union fully, he appear to be opposed to marriage and not civil union....the truth is, I don’t know the difference between both, because there is no difference. This is his quotes.... What we have to have is a civil union law; that way they are legally covered... 1 Like |

Openbusiness:you are so ridiculous....so now we interpret the bible directly? our pastors or priests shouldn't wear purple again cuz the woman wore purple and scarlet?? FYI....in Catholic Church, priests dress in different colors depending on the color of the day/week/month.... sometimes they wear white with a touch of red, white with a touch of golden yellow, white with a touch of cream color, white with a touch of purple etc, it all depends on the week.....I think, during lent, it's always white with a touch of purple, until Easter day...the only colour that doesn't change is the normal white garmet they wear....stop going around posting trash, ya'll looking for a way to accuse the Catholic Church of one thing or the other... 1 Like |

Chii59:the act is sinful, yes, but should we condemn, hate, despise and reject the person totally cuz he is gay? if we do all these, how do we convince them to stop the act?? the Bible never said being gay is a sin/having a gay person around is a sin....but the act of "homosexuality" that's the sin there....so it's uncalled for to despise these people, they are still humans..... families shouldn't reject/throw them out cuz they are gay (I mean, doing so will mean telling them to go on with their gay life just elsewhere) but having them around, we have a better chance to make them not commit the sin....that's the point... people just tend to misquote people so they have something bad to say about the person...that's the case here as many has finally seen a reason to attack the pope once again..... being a Christian is not just about reading the Bible, it's about trying to be christ like, christ never ran from sinners.....rather he brought them closer...by so doing, he was able to change them.....he got close to a task collector.....converted him, a prostitute came around with oil and the rest, he didn't shoo her....he let her come close and ended up converting her too..... ofcourse people talked... just like they are doing now "why should he let a prostitute oil his feet"...I know you lots know the story....why not learn from it..... being homophobic doesn't pay....it's not a remedy to homosexuality cuz no amount of hate will stop them.....hate has never worked on them...why not try a different approach? also not being homophobic doesn't in anyway make one gay..... 2 Likes |

linearity: The difference is simple, his just trying to tell you that, it is not because your brother is committing a sin which is against your doctrine you would now reject him and abandon him to die. He is preaching love, that your brother is homosexual shouldn't mean you should judge him by condemning him, instead pray for him and love him. That is one good thing with Catholic, that you don't believe in my doctrine does not mean I will hate you, the pope is just trying to say live and let's live. They have the right to be protected. you wouldn't say because a family have one of there daughter who is a prostitute and also atheist they should abandon her. No That is when she needs you more, you keep praying for her and continue seeking divine intervention. The pope never supported same marriage not just pope catholic church will never be in support of it. What catholic support is love your neighbor and you don't have the right to judge your neighbor. 1 Like |

ictjobber:They've always been a part of society, it's just that they now shove it every one's face claiming unimaginable rights! Clarification: They have a right to be loved as children by their families, right to health care in civil union but homosexual marriage is incongruent; no support. That church will die once same sex marriage is approved. Why can't the press quote verbatim, instead of twisting, cut and joining words, ehn? To what end? |

You guys bad mouthing the pope and catholic church. Ask yourself this question. Why did the journalist edit the full speech of what the pope said on the interview. Open your eyes and don't be carried away with your hatred for catholic church. We don't force our doctrines on you neither are we gonna Condemn you. Instead we would continue to show love as CHRIST preached. 1 Like |

Elvis778:You are NOT the Catholic Church. Don't make that mistake! You are the ROMAN Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church is 100% Different from the Catholic Church of Jesus Christ. No matter how they try to re-invent and hide the "Roman" from you modern followers, it doesn't change the fundamental identity, that the Pope is the Head of the Roman Catholic Church, as in, Roman Catholic, Roman Catholic........ This is one of the major reasons why History is very important. Do you see all these robes and garments and the accompanying paraphernalia and ornaments, EVERYTHING, I mean, everything has a meaning, has a purpose, is symbolic. They don't wear it for decoration. The colors aren't chosen by "random" or accident, there is meaning to it.

Revelations 3 Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery:This Scripture isn't exactly literal. It is figurative, it is metaphorical in meaning. The Beast = Europe = The Europe Union. The woman riding the Beast = Roman Catholic Church. The Antichrist is coming from Europe, not America. America and Russia are the last barriers blocking their plans. But eventually, they will conquer America from within through politics, and then Europe (with America under its political control) will conquer Russia by war. China will be conquered too, and the Chinese Army will be under the control of Europe. The last stand will be the Middle East. Then the Antichrist will come out of hiding. His identity will be revealed to the World. And the Antichrist is European by nationality or coming out of Europe. |
