This slow charging is back again .....How can a phone of one week be giving me headache like this ? What attracted me to this redmi note 9 pro is the fast charging of 71minutes that I read online before buying it but now my phone sometimes charge for 5hours without getting full, atimes 3hours before it becomes fully charged despite following the procedures suggested by people when i complained earlier . Can someone suggest a long lasting solution to this please because I am getting fed up

Are you using the follow come cable and cord? What is your power source? Do you have any pending updates? Have you tried resetting the phone?
I have the same device and I don't experience all what you've stated.

Does it show fast charging icon?
Change your cable or ensure you insert it well on both ends. If not well inserted, it won't charger fast.
Clean your ports.
If none of this works, use 18w charger avail at your disposal, if fast a bit, then, then it's your adaptor.
I have 30w charger for your phone should you need a replacement unit (avail in Ikeja and can be dispatched from my side too with a token).

try a different charger(original fast charger)... it might be that your unit shipped with a factory defective charger.

I took the phone(Xiaomi Redmi 9c) to slot today, they tried blaming it on me, they said the error could have been from the memory card, their engineers said which apps am I using? they wiped it again without my consent which made me lose all my data again, they told me to use it now without memory,and if I will use memory card at all, I should use New San disk. Then I asked the salesman what would be outcome, if the phone does repeat the same problem, he told they will send to their service center.

I have known fair and well that taking it to them would barely yeild anything positive. All these warranty and Guarantee things are all facade of false security; it is time for Slot and Xiaomi to take responsibility but anyway, all is well.
