Been trying to make ends meet in Nigeria but the country hasn't been hustle friendly, suffering today and smiling tomorrow. I tried running the 2years visa last year but it was futile, I decided to give in to the 3 months visit visa.

Please can I get a job under 3 months? even if it's a menial job, I'm a graduate though but keep that one aside for now. I don't wanna come back to Nigeria now.

What do I need to come along with while coming to Dubai?

Can I save up and move to Canada or Europe at the end of 2years?

Dubai stamp on your passport will help processing to Canada but those you see making it most at Dubai are yahoo boys and Olosho ,
Getting a well paying job at Dubai as a Nigeria is very hard .
I will advice you rethink and make more money here and try Canada with God all things are possible .

Alaye, don't dare spend more than the months issued. Else, you will regret stepping out of Nigeria. It's advisable you calm down, get 2yrs working visa or elope to another country.

Dubai no be UK or US oo. A day after your visa expires, you become wanted and leaving after few days, months or years, you will pay for every day overstayed. If not, jail straight. Over staying is a big issue. They take it seriously.

My advice, if it's for work, don't go. Visit, go.
Work, get 2yrs working visa.

Don't say I didn't warn you o

Everyone's destiny is not the same. If you are convinced in your mind to travel, pray and ask God for uncommon favour. Make sure you don't go there and involve yourself into illegality. Before 3 months, God's favour must surely locate you. God is your connection and don't forget, pray and pray like everything depends on prayers. You will surely come back to this post to give testimony on how the grace of God found you. It is not easy abroad but with God, you can scale through. Make sure you take along with you some food stuffs, enough money to house and feed you for the 3 months and you will be fine. Congratulations in advance and I wish you goodluck and God will surely favour you. GO AND SUCCEED BROTHER.

there are jobs for people that have thier visa presently in Dubai because we are nearing December so many e-commerce job presently like Amazon, noon, Carrefour etc, I said for people that have own visa with Emirat ID, but bro since you have finish processing ur visa just pray and believe in God every thing will be smooth for you, ur biggest problem will be seeing company that will do resident visa for u because company don't like doing visa for Nigerians this day. Just focus when u land Dubai, minimise telling everybody that you have travelled out till you land a good job that will do visa for you.

Baba, since you have arranged your visa and ticket, I would advise you to go.. but don't have the intention of overstaying when ur visa expires unless you are fortunate to find an employer willing to process your residential visa for you...

Like someone said, everybody destiny no be the same thing, u fit enter Dubai now and miraculously land one or two job sef, while person way don dey there since 2018 still never see work. Pray to God and be smart make opportunity no pass you by, once you reach there, no dey form, humble yourself, cos you don't know where your helper fit dey.

Even If you are unable to find an employer to process your work visa for you, come back, a Dubai stamp on your passport means it would be way easier for you to get your two year work visa if you decide to apply again from home, and also that stamp could help your travel history when applying to other better countries in Europe, Caribbeans and even Asia .

Take a leap with faith bruh!!!

Don't travel with the hope that you're not coming back because there's no guarantee on that.

Don't throw getaway party in your neighborhood, don't brag to your neighbors and friends and don't sell off your properties. Try to sublet your apartment or let a brother stay there for awhile if you can just in case.

When you get to Dubai, befriend Indians and Sri Lankans within the three months if you have the chance of meeting them. If you wanna get a menial job, they are the ones doing lots of it so they will know a thing or two.

If you don't wanna come back, be ready to do any kind of menial job for now if you see one.

Lastly but more important, if you're Igbo please keep your ego back home. I'm Igbo myself and this is not meant to be an insult to my folks. We have this ego thing and sometimes it is difficult for us to hide it or pretend not to have too much of it.

You already bought your flight ticket, so you are set to go. Goodluck

But whatever happens, if you want a clean travel history, DO NOT OVER-STAY

Also you may wish to consider getting a 2nd passport from a country that allows you visa free travel to UAE and other Top destinations.

All the best.

Truth be told, it is not every Nigerian doing well in Dubai that are into illegal stuff or yahoo boys/prostitute, hence your assertion is absolutely wrong. As a matter of fact, there are lots of Nigerians in Dubai doing well for themselves legitimately.

And again, do you think getting a job in Canada is that easy? Even though Canada is a better option, that doesn't mean there's a job waiting for you there.

By and large, nothing good comes easy.

United Arab Emirates is not an easy country if you plan to work there unless you are going for visiting, the weather is too hot, accommodation is expensive eg a shared bed space cost around 500dhs, which is 50k in equivalent for just one month, food is cheap, transportation if you are using taxi is expensive too, don't think that anybody is going to help you there because things are difficult especially for starter's like you, for job, they usually require UAE experience in almost all job, if you are lucky, they might consider you for a kitchen steward job, housekeeping job, or a waiter job, think very well before going there to avoid had I know, and most companies don't like giving jobs to Nigerians because of our bad record in that country, however, if God destines this journey of yours, he will see you through too

I was in Dubai before corona came left Dubai in July. Is not easy anywhere but Dubai is a hell of a country that a natural Nigeria can't live normally there. Forget what you see on the screen yes Dubai is beautiful but inside the beauty people don't care to know.
