The early voting numbers exceeded 2016 and over 2 million of these voters did not vote in 2016.
You know the demographics are changing in Texas and America thereby favouring the democrats and the early voting turnout is also from urban suburban democratic counties.

Trump actually won Ohio a state Obama won twice with a larger margin than he wonTexas in 2016.

So the margin is getting smaller in Texas but this election will reveal if the numbers is close enough for a Democrat's victory in subsequent elections.

Each state has a specific number of people in the electoral college with an elector having just one vote.The bigger the state ,the bigger the number of electors but the Southern states have a lot of electors compared to the Northern (Southern states were the last to free slaves and as such they got electoral votes for slaves although a black slave then was worth three fifth of a white human).
In most states, the person who wins the state wins ALL their electoral votes. But in some states , it is a bit complicated.
So popular vote is important but should be wide spread. Hilary Clinton lost important states (swing states) by a small margin which have Trump their electoral votes and won convincly in others where only a 50+percent win will give her all their electoral vote. These was the reason while with her over 3 million extra vote , she didn't get enough electoral vote.

A Trump win will see America going to war and bullying of some smaller Nations, but for the Christians and Church, it will buy time for more preparation towards the Rapture. A Biden winning will restore some level of peace and hope for America. It will be a breathe of fresh air to some Nations that see Trump as a bully. But Trump won Ohio by 450k while he won Texas by 800k I just wanted to correct that but you are right when you say the margin was smaller because his 800k win in Texas was the smallest for any republican in Texas.

When the economy was doing well they covered it. When Trump brokered the historic deal in middle east, it was also reported.
