To be honest with you, it is still like magic how the Ikwerre were able to maltreat others in Rivers State when they're actually no bigger than the others in terms of population. In the old Rivers State (Bayelsa included) the state had 9 local governments and out of the 9, Ikwerre shared 1 with Etche. They later had one local government but as P.H and its environ grew, mainly due to influx of people (largely Igbos) into the state capital, people began to have the impression that ikwerre has huge population which is not true. They were actually cashing out with Igbo votes but now that Igbos are about to isolate them, the clear picture will emerge.
