These are not funny statements. It seems you people don't want to learn from history. Our recent history tells us that the board has found it difficult to identify and appoint a coach that will bring lasting success.

We were all here when Moyes was sacked after 1 season only for his successor LVG to be sacked after 2 seasons. The man that followed was JM who was sacked after just over 2 seasons and his successor will soon be sacked.

If it was so automatic to appoint a good coach Woodward and the Glazers would have gotten it right in one of their 4 tries. Identifying and sacking a bad coach is extremely easy, identifying and appointing a great coach is another cup of tea.
