No it’s not . Go and watch Arsenal vs Chelsea(can’t remember the year ) ; there was this goal that involved Ramsey in an offside position just like Willock , but Sanchez slotted the ball home like Nketiah did and it was ruled as a goal.

The ref messed up. With VAR it would’ve been ruled a goal no doubt

I don’t think that is the right interpretation of why the goal was cancelled. The absence of VAR makes sense because that would have been reviewed and correctly given because Nketiah was not offside and Willock did not block the keeper or impede in his attempt to make a play.

Pepe needs such deliveries atvthe edge of the box, something only Saka seems to know how to do. I think Arteta should stop demanding creativity from Pepe he seems to suck at it. He should just be making those runs and shooting.

I am renowned for being tough and a strong critic of the kid but he played well today. He made his way into dangerous positions inside the box and looked like he could score or cause chaos for the opponents.

Nothing has changed. VAR would've ruled the ball goal easily. The assistant referee only called it offside because his line of view was blocked by so much bodies in the box and he onlh made the call that came to his mind in impulse.

I was really impressed with his performance yesterday especially how he puts pressure on the opposition defenders and also how he maintained good partnership with Nketiah.

His only issue was his link up play which seems to lack confidence and decisiveness.

Your last paragraph is the main issue. But i am impressed with how he always find the goal whenever and wherever. He could have got an hattrick yesterday but the molde players were being naughty. Another player that caught my attention is Ceballos. I was impressed with the way he was slicing through their midfield particularly in the 2nd half.
