Long Read Alert The Eagle has landed what it is wounded (Delayed, Rejected, Denied) it landed on 21st of September 2020 just five days after application 16th September 2020 (See Attached) You can call me a stubborn risk taker if you want as I have ignored all the early warnings of deferral of admission and that of not using an organization account for study permit application. Before I on with extra details, these are the details of documents I submitted during my application Academic Certificates a. SSCE (WAEC) b. Diploma in Computer Engineering (Statement and Certificate) c. Diploma in Computer Science (Statement and Certificate) d. National Diploma in Computer Science (Statement of Results) e. B.Sc. (Hons) Communication Technology f. B.Sc. Transcript g. Letter of Exclusion from National Service Professional Certificates a. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) b. Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Employment Documents a. Letter of Employment b. Letter of Confirmation c. Letter of Salary Adjustment/Promotion d. Pay-Slip for 5 Months e. Office ID Card Other Documents a. Recommendation Letters (Employer, Church & Youth leadership and Academia) b. Curriculum Vitae c. Family Ties (Deed of Land Gift, Birth Certificate of Siblings) d. Study Plan e. Letter of Explanation. Financial Details (Proof of Funds) Organizational Sponsorship and Prove of Funds a. CAC Certificate b. Letter of Sponsorship c. Affidavit of Support d. Statement of Account and Bank Reference ( Total Credit Amount 533,181,706. Closing Balance -14,186,657) e. My personal Statement of Account and Bank Reference (Closing Balance 430,000 ) f. My salary Pay Slips for 5 months g. My Salary Account with no funds h. Mortgage Investment shares of 200,000 i. Staff Savings and Investment 1.4 Million Other School Related Documents a. Admission Letter b. Tuition Fees Payment Receipt c. Enrollment Confirmation Brethren, these are all the documents I used for the application, and the out as attached above. Just also let you know that I am in my week 10 of studies with Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, Canada. Happy to also inform you that I was by God’s graciously given a Bursary this Term while I had already paid my school fees. But the money is in my student account. The amount is 3114 CAD. Moving forward these are my plans for the financial challenge I am facing. I intend to speak to my organization deposit the sum of 5 -10 million in my account which covers my tuition and leaving expense as required without working. But my question is how long would the money be there, before I print the statement for reapplication? Secondly, I want to use a distant family friend as sponsor, although I was informed that using another person as sponsor after already using my organization would raise eyebrow. How true is that and what advice do you have for me in that regard? Thirdly, I wish to speak with a business partner to use my account for some of his business transactions and for how long would that take for me to print the account statement and use? In all of the above options I still want to use my organization as my co-sponsor as they have indicated interest in helping out. Lastly, if all the above don’t work out I intend to just fry my intestines with fasting and prayers and just use my organization (Where I work) again as sponsors. NB: Estimated tuition and mandatory fees for first 12 months: $7,583.79 (As stated on the admission letter) Please what is your advice for me on the current situation I have found myself ?

adeenzo: Hello Adeenzo, Your undoing may be the Diploma and not necessarily your ties to Canada. If you were able to give a clear study intent and also able to demonstrate a good economic tie to your workplace, you may stand a chance. Someone here have his family in the US & Canada only the exception of him in Nigeria. In fact, was sponsored by his brother in the US and got an approval. All the best 1 Like |

Good morning all . I'm in a great dilemma here . It's very tough searching for a Graduate Diploma in the social sciences in Canada. I have a government and Public Administration BSC and I have been on the look for a program in Canada. My initial plan was to go for an international relations master but I was enlightened here that with my 2.2 grade , it's best I opt for a PGD by the amiable Lekkibobo. He did ease my burden a lil and admonished I take up a human resources management PGD from New Brunswick which I was on course to complete application before the available seats were occupied. Now , I'm back to ground Zero again and I need insights from those of you here who have quantum knowledge about this procedure. I'm searching for a program in a low tuition School in Canada and I would love for anyone here to shine light on my path which is beclouded by fogs |

chuksinfotech: Hello Chuksinfotech, Its better for an application to be denied fast than been tarried. This save time in making necessarily and appropriate corrections, and to give any new and/or adequate information that may help a reapplication. I for one wouldn't agree that there is risk-taking here. You were only been headstrong. Your application was made with too many avoidable experimentation. With the Busrsary award, if you can improve your funds, its a good financial strength support. If you go down the same path of using an organizational sponsorship coupled with the intended lump sum deposit, you may stand to face another setback. Get someone else or the individual giving your the necessary assistance within the organization to stand as a sure and reliable sponsor. The sponsorship will be done with private or personal information and documentation. Pay your tuition and get your LE transferred to you. This should reflect with narration in the sponsor's BS. That way you don't need the lump sum deposit of 5-10m but you may sought for extra amount to run your account above the 430 mark or you can liquidate part of your investment to run it up. In respect to how long the funds can stay, there is no actual time. Its advised for the funds to be there but in actual sense, I believe, no business minded individual would leave certain amount sufficient to generate extra funds laying idle in a buried account. Another advise it that, if the funds should be readily available so if an updated BS is requested or peradventure you were asked to pay your 1st semester or 1yr tuition fees by the VO, which could happen. Changing sponsorship would likely not be a negative implication and it may also not likely affect your application wrongly. Try to demonstrate how the new sponsor is financially capable and give good evident relationship that connects you both. IRCC requires a BS of 6months but on some occasion, few has used 3 months. Preferably, 6months makes sense in your situation. You can run your account through the said business transactions with your partner for about 6 -12 (if applicable) months. I catch the sarcasm of frying your intestine. Though, there is no miracle without action. Do what's right. All the best 3 Likes |

Good day all, I’m quite new on this platform. I have an offer of admission for my MBA at UofT(Rotman) for fall 2021... I intend to commence my study permit application in January/Feb (once I’m able to sort out my funding shortfalls) Help needed: I have 2 landed properties (one for myself, and the other for my mom), however I do not have proper documentations for both lands (only family receipts from ómó onilé)...what documents do I need to get as proof of the lands, and what’s the cost estimation to get them? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Lekiboboe: 12:51pm On Nov 08, 2020 |
CrownTdan:Hi, Apart from Family Receipts from Omo Onile, try to get the following - Survey plans of the landed properties - C of O (Certificate of Occupancy) - Deed of Conveyance - Miscellaneous land Receipts & Stamp duties - Memorandum of Land Sales They can be more........ You can meet a Realtor or Surveyor They would be able to guide you more on this Do await more inputs/suggestions on your questions from members in houses 4 Likes |

Hello HorlarJP, Medical examination is a part of study permit application if your studies will be more than 6 months. There are 2 ways to get it done: Upfront examination: you do it and submit it to IRCC before they request for it Medical request; you wait for them to ask you to go and do a medical examination So far, if you are asked to go for a medical examination by IRCC, it’s a positive sign. Your permit would most likely be granted. All the best HorlarJP: |
