Now that's the point.... you're not bringing out any sensible point to counter what I said, you just assume I'm still in pains for Trump loss. Lmaooo if you know Biden really got blacks in mind, counter that with his policies he made in the last 48yrs that helped blacks and stop spilling out idol worshipping in my mention.
I counter you with the fact that Biden won this election but I know you would not believe it until he's in the White House, so I'll wait for you to catchup with reality. You will soon.

Can you show me where in the constitution that says the MSM is the one that has the power to declare who won the Presidential election?

These are the kind of slow people I have to deal with here.
Did you say the same thing when MSM declared Trump winner in 2016??

This inbalance is why America has the electoral college, so bigger states don't permanently swamp the smaller ones.
It's working for us well in Canada though. In my opinion, the bigger states with large population centers should determine how the country is governed and not a province (or state) that do not even have up to a million people living in them. I believe that is fair.

One interesting fact about this election is how the GOP increased it's seats in the Congress. i.e. People were voting GOP down the ballot, but were voting Biden/Harris up the ballot. grin

We do not have that opportunity in Canada. You vote the party and the party with the majority elects the leader as the Prime Minister.

If we had the US style, there is a good chance that Trudeau would not have been elected too.

UK PM is elected by constituencies. Each constituency elects a Member of Parliament and the leader of the party with the most MPs gets called by the Queen to form government. The fun thing is constituency boundaries can be changed if populations change, and the party with a majority of MPs may not have an overall majority in the House of Commons, hence a coalition or a minority government.

It takes custom, and maturity, to make it work.

Thousands gathering to celebrate Biden's victory without social distancing or face masking, should tell you that Covid19 is just a mere sham of a virus created by China to remove their nightmare (Trump) and install their runs boy (Biden). Watch as how lamestream media diverts attention away from the pandemic in the coming days.

Thanks for confirming that the reason behind your Trump fanaticism is sheer stüpidity. I make no bones to tell you that you are a clown with pap for brains to think that China will unleash a pandemic on their own population just in the vague hope of someday changing the US President.

That should tell you that most Republicans even Fox news do not like Trump, He was just a useful idiiot to them to give them the supreme court, give them tax cuts and if they retain the Senate

There are still many good people in this country. Georgia gov and Secretary of State are all Republicans and promised all votes would be counted

I fear the horse has bolted for the GOP. I do not see moderate politics ever returning to the GOP, although they may slightly improve from the Trump years. This started with Sarah Palin in 2008, followed by many moderates being chased from the GOP by the Tea Party. Trump jumped on this groundswell and actually launched his Republican career off the back of the Obama birther conspiracy lie which gained so much traction that Trump found his next con in this group of Tea Party people who prefer lies and falsehoods to Truth. I need not tell you that the preparation for supremacist ideas start with the disregard of truth. It is eerily reminiscent of the Nazi party in the 1920s which started with small scale demonisation of Jews (read Mexicans and Muslims) but the underlying similarity between both movements is the total disregard for truth. That's why far-right conspiracy channels like Alex Jones and co have gone majorly mainstream.

I agree with the poster earlier who said America is on a dangerous precipice if half the population have no regard for truth, underpinned by supremacist ideology.

Shout out to the Bushes, Mitt Romneys, John McCains etc. They will be the last of the moderate Republicans to taste power within the GOP for a long time.

Trumpism is straight up assault on the truth - the ferocious support for those lies, denial of the true facts, relentless effort to create another reality outside the facts, and an attempt to force everyone else to believe this new reality.

That is a dangerous disease that must be contained at all costs. I don't want to wake up in a world where someone dare says black is now blue, and millions of Trumpanzees try to tell us normal ones, that a man who's told 20k lies in 4 years is 'ordained', and so, black must now be blue.

The last person who almost got away this type of 5hit took millions of lives with him.

There are problems with right wing and left wing politics and then there is Trumpism. If Trumpism were to rise on the left tomorrow, then it must be crushed equally, at all costs.

Well said. We are at a critical point in politics. I have followed Western politics closely for at least 23 years and never have I been worried about the future of civilised society until the last 4 years. Truth and facts must be protected at all cost which is difficult to do in this day of social media where people are fed the same news they click on by social media algorithms. Twitter and Facebook feet must be held to the fire over the next few years for the role their algorithms play in the dissemination of fake news.

I just blocked a lifelong friend on Watsapp for constantly feeding me fake news and last night blocked a family member for sending me video from Alex Jones infowars channel alleging faked watermarks on some ballots or some nonsense like that. A fellow black man sending me Alex Jones video offends me deeply to the point of putting that person on snooze even though we might be related by blood.

It's the same way many Nigerians often share videos from NeoNazi channels affirming their political views but not knowing what they are sharing. The same family member put the same video in our extended family Watsapp group at which point I asked him not to share neoNazi videos on family group please and cautioned the Group to always sense-check the source of what they are sharing, and if in doubt only share news from established mainstream media sources which go through proper editorial review.

Much like Jigsaw didn't actually kill his victims, Trump doesn't actually have to step down until he decides to. It has always been an honor based system, so the losing candidate usually concedes willingly. However, it's not a legal requirement to do so. It's going to be interesting to see how this goes but chances are that Trump may end up staying as President for an undetermined amount of time longer than expected.

This is actually scary, the fact that no one could counter what he said. He basically just admitted there is a legal way Trump can still be president even though America voted him out, and that it's actually legal and constitutional. America's founding fathers are truly something.

I don't see it as that gloomy

There is a rise of extremism on both sides, far right and far left

Sanders was going to be nominee for the Democrats if not for joint efforts to frustrate his effort which some have argued is somehow anti democratic which is what the Republicans failed to control in 2016 they believed the normal agelong politicking will weed out Trump and didn't put in a "fix" to coalesce behind Jeb or Kasich

Just like the far left is believing getting rid of billionaires, getting rid of law enforcement, free for all bathrooms etc that are recipe for chaos. A liberal scientist recently suggested eating human flesh to curb climate change just like some batshit crazies believe that Clinton eats children grin

I have lived in Texas and lived in Massachusetts among other states and I will tell you I have experienced both sides. How the many laws enacted and stifle growth that is why many people are fleeing liberal states to the red states

There are still normal people on both sides. Take away political needs, a Biden has more in common with Bush and Romney than he has with AOC or Sanders

Unless you are saying all those voice of reasons like Biden Bush Powell Clinton Romney etc will suddenly go extinct. There will always be crazy people on both sides, we only have to not give them the center stage. That is why anytime Trump tries to tie Biden to Sanders he quickly said "I am not Sanders and that is why I defeated him"

Trump only brought out the right wing crazies and they are going back to where they belong. Hopefully the crazies on the left too go away

A Virginia congresswoman in a conference call last Thursday told the Democrats to stop all these socialist nonsense and that was why they are losing seats

I believe moderate politics will still stay after we all realize extremists are bad for us all

All crazy bots working feverishly to paint their criminal Joe Biden a good guy. Tough luck.

Just like Stacy Abram 700,000 votes were confiscated, banned and thrown into trash cans that finally decided her fate in last mid term elections, so shall it be with this sleepy Joe Biden.

And again, just like Hillary, Obama, Comey and Brennan were unmasked as the hands behind the Russian Collusion story, written to tarnish the image of Trump, so shall all the enemies of the US be unmasked in this election.

They’ve played into the trap set for them by the GOP.

One would have thought that they would have learnt their lessons with the several unmasking of their shenanigans over the last 4 years. They didn’t stop. It’s only a fly that would go into the wastepit that will follow the shit all the way.

Biden and Harris, come and take the White House, if you can!

I have to agree with Dayo on the embolden. I have said this before, the reason Biden was able to not only win nut gather the most votes in the history of the US is the fact that he was a moderate. Sanders would have been a disaster for the Democrats and there are extreme liberals in the Democratic party and that is why I hold N. Pelosi in high regard because she balances both sides within the party without losing the sellability of the party.

With that being said, the Republican party needs to stop construing the involvement of the Government in Healthcare through a public option to mean Socialism because that is so untrue and the people are buying that argument and likening it to extreme Socialist situations.
