Helloo. Please i was checking this thread and i was seeing something about a credit card from your sponsor or something like that. I have talked to the guy in poland that knows someone at the embassy and is helping me with my visa processes and all the documents i would be needing and he said i would only need a bank statement of 3months from sponsor, sponsors salary sheet, documents to proof of sponsorship and about 8million in the account of my sponsor and i should forget about the credit card talk. Now i am about to pay the fees and seeing all these talk about credit cards and what have you is scaring me. Has the rules changed is it an “either-or“ situation??

The requirements of the embassy are very clear that credit card is needed, especially 2020. Is the friend truly a Polish Embassy official?

Hello guys, I have two questions:

1. I was unable to secure a dorm from my school and need to book an accommodation for visa application and I’m aware I am supposed to book a cheap hotel or hostel. But I need to know for how many days I am booking. Do I book for a month or what?

2. For legalization of documents in the embassy, are we paying in euros or naira? If yes, are there specifics to the Euro notes we need to provide? Cos Information reaching me is that the Euro notes to be provided should not be from 2013 and below.

Thanks in anticipation of your reply.

I thank you all for ur honest contributions and the stories u are sharing. I followed the thread from begining and have been reading very often.

I got an appointment yesterday to come for visa application on tuesday.
I am going for masters Programm. My question is do i need a travel insurance for the whole 2 years or the usual schenghen travel insurance of 3 months. On the Embassy's website they said insurance for the period of stay. But like i know, these travel insursnces from Nigeria are not recognized in EU as health insurance at all. So does it make sense to pay a huge Premium for 2 years when it wont be recognized?

Is there anyone who got visa for masters? How many months insurance did u give them.

Hello Please.. would a payment slip of 570k gross and about 490k after tax be sufficient.

Secondly the payment slip from place of work is a simple photocopy paper with just company logo, name and salary table and without any other thing . So i hope thats what it actually looks like with others submitting a payslip too?

As reported; type-c visa application is now accepted by the embassy... for those going for schengen visa...

Meanwhile you could also get your schengen visa from Germany embassy or any other member’s embassy

Legalization for December is currently open. If you don't book now then you might have to wait till next year January

What’s on 3 & 9

You’ll just type a letter addressing the embassy for an appeal and state the reason you’re appealing and also introduce the documents that seemed insufficient that you have it up to date... attach the refusal letter and also your 80 euro... all must be done and taken there within fourteen days from the day you received the refusal decision from the embassy.

For no 3 upgrade ur CC or payslip

For 9 its a big issue, because there is no clear reason. Ill advice you take caution, because if you dont get it right you will still be denied. Good luck

I don't know about your number one question but your number two, yes you're paying in euros and the notes must be above 2013, neat and with no obvious markings

Mail the embassy with your name and passport number, then state the number they marked...ask them what went wrong exactly..they will tell u where the problem came from so as to know what u need to do...it might not be because the money in your cc is not much,it might be something else.

Mail them,u will be fine.cheers

Could you tell us what is on numbers 3 and 9 so as to help others on this platform be more prepared for future visa applications.

And if possible what you provided in form of financial support and amount.

Many Thanks.

Best Regards.

I have not heare anyone on this forum talk about visa Interview. Isnt that done for poland? Is it just Submission of documents and then wait for Response? On the website it says in some cases an Interview might be needed. Is that really rare?

Hello guys, a friend gave me this breakdown about Poland Uni and I will like to clarify it:

*School fee: 600-650
Hostel : 33250 /month
Statement : 2.8 - 3m
Flights: 260-350 depends on airlines
Insurance 1yr:38k or 30k
Application fee: less than 100 dollar
He will need legalization of documents at ministry of education and foreign affairs Abuja*

How true is the above quotation or better still how much in total will be needed as a prospective international student?

2. Can a 2008 WAEC RESULT still be used/valid for admission to Poland undergraduate admission. Thanks in anticipation

Some courses are free so you may bypass school fees altogether

Number 2 does it mean the 2008 waec is invalid?

What courses and schools?

The WAEC result is valid. I just wanted to know if the length of time would affect the admission process.
