budaatum: I used to believe this as well, but I'm not longer convinced by the idea. Most people who voted for Trump had been white men and women and I bet most Latinos who did, had been white passing. The percentage between people with and without a college degree wasn't that drastic. I believe white people can afford voting for a person like Trump. I mean, let's be honest who is president doesn't affect them much. Politics will aways favour them. Minorities are usually the ones asking themselves, will it favour us too? 6 Likes 1 Share |

Ibime:Palin, her tea parties and the self-centred ideology of Ayn Rand promoted by Hitler's tactics. America, thankfully, does study history, and have learnt to write it down for future study. The next few years will stuff so much on telly and in the cinemas ridiculing trump that it would be very difficult to maga in the next hundred or so years. GOP might win again soon if they don't shed their trump branding, but after one more go of maga they might not taste power in America for a long long time. If even Saudi is liberalising, and Iranians and N.Koreans dream and clamour for liberty, America can hardly be tacking far right back to slave times, unless there's something we missing I guess. I'm going to miss trump. I was so looking forward to the attack on Roe v Wade. 2 Likes |

Ibime:No its not! Not difficult at all! 23 years you say you been following but even you must admit that following this was much easier than 23 years ago. And by golly, did you not have as much resource at your disposal to influence the outcome as you so successfully have done. I put it to you that it is very undifficult to protect "truth and facts" because you are very more than able. My faith in you is immense.

Ibime:Scared of does not mean he controls. Trump family are already complaining no gop support, and he's running out of money. If nothing else damns him, his very unsporting behaviour sure will, especially to those weened on basket and baseball. I predict they throw him under a bus in the next few days, till then, watch out for Republicans yelling, "concede"! |

Ibime:And then the tea party just kind of died off before the election that followed. We had Momentum behind Corbyn over here in UK trying to beat Boris, but just last week was he suspended from the Labour Party. The 'party' is usually made up of coalitions of diverse groups which trump pulled together with populism. Now he's gone (and trust me he's so gone he's Alex Jones gone - and don't you argue his crazy is not fringe), wearing maga hats will be like wearing a white hood, and I promise we will be cancelling their asses by beating them up in the streets! I'm so glad it's red so can't miss it. 1 Like |

Ibime:I, on the other hand, was behind Cobyn as most of what was said of him was mischaracterisation like they mischaracterize Sanders by labelling him socialist. He just got suspended from the party for 'antisemitism', a word used to define anyone who says anything against Israels apartheid of the Palestinians. UK does not do extreme left and no party leader would go there, nor in US where they can't differentiate it from communism, but I would not be surprised if unions return to America and healthcare becomes free for all. Trumpism has shown education should be free too so people do not become deplorables. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Ibime: They embraced Roosevelt's very socialist New Deal in 1933 until Truman usurped it in '47 with what is now known as McCarthyism. Still, social security cheques better not be late, plus covid19 so can't work, no healthcare nor money for rent. As we say where I'm from, Ijesa is not hungry so refuses to eat ẹkọ Oyo. fieryy:Most people who voted Biden were white too and in fact more of them than voted for trump. And it very much seems to affect white people when a black person is beat by police as we saw with whites yelling "Black Lives Matter", and that's apart from Roe v Wade, so I think politics very much affects them. You just need see how rejoicefully they are dancing on the street after collectively affecting trump. I'm going to wait for proper demographics on this election. The polls have taught me there's often noise, but education is not "college degree". In UK, we teach it in kindergarten at age 3. Below is some parents saying, "don't teach it to my child!" https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2019/nov/26/birmingham-anti-lgbt-school-protests-judge-ban-permanent

Spanberger’s view was echoed by Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on “Meet the Press”: “I don’t think the American people want to sign up for the Green New Deal. … I don’t think they’re interested in Medicare-for-all or higher taxes that would slow down the economy.” But this diagnosis is at odds with the numbers. A near-majority of voters in swing districts supported the Green New Deal. Fifty-three percent of Americans support Medicare-for-all (and 70 percent support a public option). In exit polls, 57 percent of voters expressed support for Black Lives Matter. In Florida, while moderate Democrats up and down the ticket fell flat, voters passed the $15 minimum wage that the left has been pushing for years. As Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) observed, every swing-district House Democrat who co-sponsored Medicare-for-all kept their seat. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/11/08/democratic-leaders-play-ridiculous-blame-game-with-progressives/ 3 Likes |

Ibime: His records look like another extreme politician and wont be encouraged As we are speculating about the breakdown of the Republican party, also be prepared for a civil war in the democratic party between the far left and the moderates the AOC vs the Pelosi. If you see the tone on this thread you will already see that brewing. There is no common enemy in Trump to fight now so they will fight themselves. Socialists vs Moderates. The regular independent is tired of both extreme and just want rational people in politics They don't want to defund police, they don't want burning and looting on the streets, they don't want Qanon bullshiit, and racist dog whistle BTW, why are the pissed Republicans not burning their cities down 1 Like |

BraniacX: Your replies aren’t word salad? Lmfao... if only you knew. Also what you’ve just said is wrong. Every president knows about this, every one of them. Why would knowing it means it must be exploited? Most of them are honorable men and wouldn’t want America to become a banana republic. The fact that something hasn’t been used doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. What of your own interpretation of that part of the constitution then? Where is it? Let’s see your own interpretation. |
