OLAREWAJU1705: Sorry oh bros! Nobody knows the part of Uk you choose to visit na, so the link to tourist centers, malls and cheap hotels you want help with go hard. As for your hotel reservation, just the print out showing your reserved dates will suffice. |

Pls for the gurus... Does it mean that passports with rejected applications don't take up to 15 working days to be returned? cos some people were saying the longer ur application process without refusal email means the application is most likely to get approval. A friend of mine said his biometrics was done on the 20th of October which yesterday made it 13th working days but no email and still @DMC when tracked today. Could it be a positive sign? cos I learnt from the thread that someone who did same date with him has been asked to pick up his passport. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Nchabuomo: 3:55pm On Nov 07, 2020 |
Gatess: Duration isn't a determinant of approval. Each application is different. When your friend gets a response, he gets a response. |

Hi guys, I’m an Ardent reader. Please I’d like to know if it’s wise to start my UK visit processing tomorrow. I hope the current lockdown won’t affect it? Thanks for all your reasonable input. Regards. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by LoyalRoyalty: 9:19pm On Nov 08, 2020 |
babs4all:On the payment page, click on paga verve.. Then select pay by card, after that you should be able to make the payment using your bank card because the currency would have been converted to naira.. Input your card details and that will be it. 1 Like |

giselle237: Thanks for this response . Now considering someone who wishes to avoid such scenario, but had already put a high expenditure in the form , can this be reduced in the cover letter .. For example , you filled in 2m as expenses , and you now claim to review same expenses as 1m or 1.5m , would this be acceptable or considered ? Also , what column or category can I upload my cover letter , would it be OTHERS? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 7:17am On Nov 09, 2020 |
Igbudu1:If u have not gone for biometrics, cancel the application and fill a new form. Ur money will be refunded later on. If ur expenses is 2m i hope ur disposable income every month is 1m? Thats after u have removed ur monthly expenses from ur salary, what is left should be 1m for u to have expenses of 2m Dnt shoot urself in the foot if they dont go through your cover letter |

giselle237: Hello dears, my friend got the below message last year when refused a visit visa to the UK - the agent lied about the duration of her previous stay in the UK although she didn't overstay her issued visa. She's asking if this means a 10 year ban cos UKVI says she may consider applying again You should note that because this application for entry clearance has been refused under paragraph V3.6 of the Immigration Rules, any future applications may also be refused for the same reason, under paragraph 320 (7B) of the Immigration Rules or paragraph V3.7 of Appendix V of the Immigration Rules. A refusal under paragraph V3.7 of the Immigration Rules may attract an automatic refusal period of up to 10 years. The period starts from the date of the previous event in which the deception or submission of falsified documents or information was employed. |

Hello everyone. I'm in the middle of filling my children's (3) application. All under age 10. I have a valid visa. 1.How do I get their applications to be treated as one? Is it possible to link their applications? (Forms, submission, apppointment/biometrics, collection etc) Please, note that we're using a single letter of invitation that carries all their names. 2. The cost of travelling part, is it right to fill just their flight expenses? Or do I need to include shopping, sightseeing and others? 3. Do I need to draw up an itinerary for them too? 4. Apart from their letter of invitation, host's documents, school records, birth certificates , father's payslips and bank statements, what other documents should I include please? Thank you in anticipation of your help. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by iyatrustee(f): 11:55am On Nov 09, 2020 |
Pompoms: 1. For form submission, Everybody has to fill a seperate form. However, link them by referring to each other wherever they ask if you are travelling with any other person. For Biometrics, Try and book appointment for same day even if it is not same time. Go at the first appointment time and let the staff at TLS know, they will merge all 3 applications into one. For collection, once they are captured together, you can be rest assured collection will be together as it is same ECO that will treat the application. 2. When i applied for my kids, all i did was put a bugdet! I didn't breakdown into expense heads. If you choose to, please go ahead and include sightseeing, transportation etc but leave out shopping(It is not a must) 3. Yes. Same itinerary would suffice for all 3kids 4. Include your current visa, expired visa's if you choose to also, marriage certificate. Their school documents will also help. You can get a letter from their educational provider addressed to UKVI to that effect. 2 Likes |

Thank you so much. Do we need to write a cover/consent letter? (As their parents) iyatrustee: |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by iyatrustee(f): 3:54pm On Nov 09, 2020 |
Pompoms: You may wish to include that if you feel it will help you. But the fact that the trip seem to be fully sponsored by the Father is consent in a subtle way. I included a parental consent during mine because I was the one sponsoring our trip. My payslips, bank statements were used so I had to bring in something from their father to add credence to my application. Kids visa are easy once the accompaning parent has a valid visa and funds is not an issue. All the best ma'am 1 Like |

Please my question is that: who are those making decisions on application? Are they Nigerians like us working with them or British? |
