The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed that it does not have the power to investigate or disqualify candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo during the September 19 election of Governor Godwin Obaseki, over alleged forgery of the University of Ibadan’s (UI) certificate. https://thenationonlineng.net/we-lack-power-to-disqualify-obaseki-over-alleged-certificate-forgery-inec/ 1 Like

Today I gave a homeless person a warm new home.. I gave him counterfeit money to buy food which got him arrested. Now he's got a warm jail and free meals twice a day. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

The certificate he's using now, is it now same one he used to contest when he was in APC, then PDP complained, even went to court but APC defended him, so why is same APC taking him to court cos of same certificate? Fahdiga:NUISANCE. If denying Bayelsa Governor elect his right to office, zamfara and rivers saga couldn't spell doom for Nigeria, why would that of Obaseki's? Very undemocratic lots Omoslim26: You and your lots need hot brain resetting and re-evaluating slap 19 Likes 1 Share

INEC is right. The courts are delaying justice on this matter. They gave Diri victory because one confused deputy gubernatorial candidate was changing names like chameleon even though he has a sworn affidavit supporting the name change 4 Likes |
