Do you mean Letter of Note Verbale or Non Verbal? They are actually two different things. Non verbal refers to a non verbal communication like facial expression or sign language while a Letter of Note Verbale refers to a diplomatic note that is more formal than an aide-mémoire and less formal than a note, is drafted in the third person, and is never signed. It is usually issued to Government officials for travel purposes. Most times it is issued in place of a visa for official travel only horlah005: |

uzomacl: Thank u so much sir for the response I think it's the latter. Please, what are the chances of being accepted to travel, will there be a stamp on the passport (since u said it's issued in place of visa) and the vadility period? Once again, I appreciate ur response |

A Note verbal isnt issued in place of a Visa. It is issued to support a Visa application of govt officials travelling for official engagements. It is also issued when a govt official's Visa application had been initially refused. Its issued at the Fed Ministry of Foreign Affairs for govt officials travelling requirements. It's not for everyone and there is a cadre one needs to attain before one benefits from the issuance of a Note Verbal horlah005: 1 Like |

With a Note Verbal, such application is rarely rejected as that note is a guarantee from the govt of your home country and embassies honour such very well. |

Hello, Please i need advice to apply TRV for my kids. 1. Do i need to open a new cic account for each of them or i can apply for both of them from my own cic account? (note i already have a valid visa issued this year before the covid-19 pandemic) 2. Will they require biometrics or are they exempted given they are below 10 years of age? I need direction. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by FYsol: 4:35pm On Nov 01, 2020 |
1. You dont need another account for them. Do it from your account. 2. They are exempted. olokings: |

Be careful. Ensure you do not get a fake one. Are you a Government Official? If not how are you in possession of one? People have not only be declared inadmissible but have gone to jail on issues like this. Just be careful horlah005: |

Hello Gurus, I will like to know if anyone has applied for Tourist Visa for "less than 6 Months" and had a family member as a sponsor. How long did the application take? Online they say 200+ days. I believe this might be a result of Visas joined together (Study, Visit,...). Makes no sense I have to wait for that long just to travel for 2 weeks. If anyone has recently applied under this condition, please let me know. Thanks. |

https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/news/2020/11/government-of-canada-announces-new-mandatory-requirements-for-travellers-to-canada.html Pre-arrival to Canada: As of November 21, 2020, air travellers whose final destination is Canada will be required to submit their information electronically through ArriveCAN before they board their flight. This includes travel and contact information, quarantine plan (unless exempted under conditions set out in the Mandatory Isolation Order), and COVID-19 symptom self-assessment. Travellers must be ready to show their ArriveCAN receipt when seeking entry into Canada; a border services officer will verify that they have submitted their information digitally. Travellers who do not submit the required information digitally before boarding their flight could be subject to enforcement action, which can range from verbal warnings to $1,000 fine. Exceptions will be made for those unable to submit documents electronically due to personal circumstances, such as disability or inadequate infrastructure. Starting on November 4, 2020, air travellers can expect to be reminded by their air carrier of the need to submit COVID-related information digitally through ArriveCAN prior to boarding their flight to Canada. Starting immediately, travellers entering Canada by land or marine modes are strongly encouraged to continue ArriveCAN by downloading the mobile app or signing in online to provide the mandatory information before they arrive to avoid additional delays for public health questioning and to limit points of contact at the border. Travellers can show their ArriveCAN receipt to a border services officer when seeking entry into Canada. Kindly go to there website and read more. Can’t post all here, Chill

Hello fellows; Please i have an issue, i erroneously answered the security questions on my cic account wrongly and it has been locked out. Now i am trying to apply for visa for two (2) of my kids but after creating a new cic accountusing my (parent) name, filling the eligibility questionnaire is a bit confusing. Should i fill in my kids information in terms of work, financial indenpendence et al or do i use mine considering that i already have my visit visa approved and simply want to apply for visa for the kids to join me for the vacation? Please i need instruction how to go about this. |

My application is now 240days old. Requested gcms notes and got this--> "This is with respect to your GCMS Notes order. We have received a message from IRCC that your order will be delayed. IRCC has sought an extension of 90 days beyond the statutory time limit of 30 days to process the request. Below is the email that we received from them. I wish to inform you that, in accordance with the Access to Information Act, an extension of 90 days beyond the statutory 30 day limit is necessary to process your request. This extension is due to a large number of records or necessitates a search through a large number of records and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of the government institution." |

Guys.... Is online printout account statement accepted by Canadian embassy? Want to use that to apply for a Visit visa? Or I have to visit the bank for original copy ? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by uzomacl(m): 4:38pm On Nov 09, 2020 |
You need to go to your bank and print out the statement and then have it stamped. Online print out will not be accepted NeyofeedNigEnt: |

Your journey starts here: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visa.asp What's your travel history like? Are you married with kids? Do you have assets? How well is your current job paying? Good travel history plus strong ties back home will prove you will return You will submit your statement with your application, Canada is more interested in regularity of inflows that huge closing balance. It might take up to 7months to get passport requests, so I advise you continue to run your account normally. godguy: |
