QUIT RELIGIOUSNESS ….

You may have been thirsty, have tried to quench your spiritual thirst yet to no avail, its time to quit being religious. Jesus confronted the Samaritan woman about her sin and comforted her with the truth of the gospel; thereby quenching her thirst. Her thirsty soul was filled, which evidence is in her rushing into town to bring many more people to meet Jesus Christ (Jn. 4:28-30).

Have you been thirsty in one area of your life or the other? Quit religiousness and drink of the living water which only Jesus can give. In John 4:14, Jesus said; But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Religion cannot give you this, the church you attend cannot give you this, your “daddy and mummy” cannot give you this. The only thing that can give you this is serving God in truth (according to the dictates of His word) and in Spirit (by the indwelling and leading of the Holy Spirit - Rom. 8:14).

John 4:23-24 - But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Make up your mind today, seek a personal relationship with your maker. Serve the Lord in Truth and in Spirit. Don’t be like a stagnant water that eventually stinks, Christianity is progressive. Strive to continuously grow in the Spirit (1Pet. 2:2). Christianity is not a religion, it is a lifestyle, a call to a relationship with your maker.
