Even though I'm not a frequent commenter here, but the points the guy made is not out of place and it's a logical prediction of how the Biden administration could look like for Nigeria. Democrats generally usually follow the same play book, and here we are talking about a potential administration who had also served as VP under an administration that was hostile to Nigeria arms procurement efforts.

Instead of countering him with valid points and rational deductions , you resulted to name calling which is typical of people bereft of any intellectual contribution to a discourse .

In regards to the bold, I feel that people are just too tired of writing. I know that I am.

I believe the majority agree with Covert’s Bidden assessments, they’re mostly hoping that a president Bidden administration would take a more favourable approach as far as Nigeria’s interest are concerned, ether actively or by omissions. It is possibly Covert’s assessment of Trump that many here find disagreeable. Personally I think the best thing Trump did for Africa was abandoning Africa. We did not merit his consideration in his warped philosophy and this indirectly advantaged Africa. Trump would sell us top of the line nuclear submarines with their full assortment of arsenal if he thought America would benefit financially from the transaction and we could gain nothing from the technology, other powers could not get their hands on the tech and we could only destroy ourselves and Africa with the missiles. In Trump, Africa was safe from destructive Liberal didacts. It is telling though that when Trump did consider Africa, the consequences for Africa were mostly unfavourable. I mean his racists pronouncements and immigration policies. However, these were the overt considerations.

I mentioned Telling earlier because it seems that, taking into consideration Obama/Biden Nigeria policies and Trump’s (the few times Trump considers Africa) US policies towards Africa have been negative. In short, there seems to be a negative trend in US Africa policies generally.

Thank you.

Leopards don't change their skins nor do apples suddenly become cherries. The man's record speaks for itself. Soon they will tell us Tucanos is an overkill for boko haram and to think the s.lly patronizing excuses Dems give is sickening.

A good read. Apparently timay brought out the intellectual reason in you albeit if you paid careful attention to Trumps overarching America First policies he has time and time again being the most transparent US President in history said everyone should focus on building their own countries, he is not the police man of the world. He wants you to take charge of your own destiny and made bold on that by treating countries as peers in international diplomacy, trade, defence, immigration something to be taken advantage of not the usual cry-beggar-thy-neigbour mentality of Nigerian and African politicians. The way you treat yourself is the way you would be treated something the Democrats continue to exploit to this day of blacks everywhere. There is nothing like a free lunch. President Trump has given nations the reciprocal dignity they deserve being a pragmatic businessman not a politician and what do we do with it cry as usual even when the man sold us arguably the most advanced COIN aircraft anywhere, hosted our inept president in the oval office and watch this also in the Rose Garden reserved for more affluent countries (never has been done by any other president not even black president Obama), honored our CDS in full glare of the cameras please give me a break. There's nothing you couldn't have achieved with this man if you wanted to. Did you hear what the Mexican president said as to why he won't yet congratulate Biden? He said President Trump has respected us and never interfered, helped them a lot with business. That's a modern and forward thinking leader even though at Trump's behest Mexico amassed the largest Military presence on its southern border to keep out illegal aliens which is the law. Please separate facts from fiction, emotion and sentiment. President Trump is not our problem. Our leaders are and our people.

President Trump has never respected Mexicans or Mexico .
He called them Rapists and Murderers.
He never visited Mexico even though it is 90 Minutes away and the Mexican President very rarely spoke about him.
It is important to keep with the facts.
President Trump’s legacy will be shaped by what he did legally;
He banned people from Muslim speaking Countries from coming to America.
He banned Nigerians from the lottery visa.
He was proposing a ban on Nigerians who intended to study in the US from getting a 4 year visa ( It would of been a 2 year visa)
Even Fox News disagreed publicly with him and those actions through Bill O’ Reily.
My stance on the Tuscanos stands when they arrive you guys should come here with the same intensity.
If they don’t I will.

You sound bitter and pained. A mixture of emotion and sentiment coming from you nothing substantive. Are you Muslim or Mexican either or you have immigrant status clearly any one of those is a bet. It changes nothing. President Trump the man is one thing and President Trump and his policies is another and if that's the case what's wrong with an independent country guarding its borders from whatever quarter or non-compliant philosophy to its laws it deems a threat or surplus to its economy. The cogent question should be what stops you from reciprocating or retaliating in whatever measure you deem appropriate. You see it will take generations to get us off this beggar-thy-neigbour mentality. Just see what you typed reeking of hand me down tokens. America is not heaven, they have their problems which Trump accurately traced to stymie however painful it seems and it worked in his first 4 years. I guess u haven't been to the US, you would be shocked at the level of poverty that still exist there with beggars on streets, crime and people on food stamps. Get your own country in order. Nigeria has everything it needs to be the pride of the black man but when you fail to vote a man as serious as Donald Trump into office and install an ascetic, religious, tribalistic, nepotistic person like Buhari or his ilk you will lament forever. People make societies.

OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE: TROOPS OF OPERATION FIRE BALL NEUTRALIZE BOKO HARAM CRIMINALS, DESTROY GUN TRUCKS, RECOVER LARGE CACHE OF ARMS AND AMMUNITION

1. Troops of Operation FIRE BALL have continued their aggressive and responsive posture with the aim of routing out the remnants of Boko Haram and Islamic States West Africa Province criminals from all their identified enclaves in the North East.

2. Consequently, on 7 and 8 November 2020, the gallant troops of 27 Task Force Brigade located in Buni Gari of Gujba LGA of Yobe State dealt a decisive blow on some marauding Boko Haram/Islamic State West Africa Province criminals in a failed attempt to infiltrate the peaceful town. The gallant troops of the Brigade who were ever on high alert fought relentlessly forcing the terrorists to withdraw in disarray due to the troops' superior firepower. Nevertheless, the unrelenting troops gave a hot pursuit and inflicted heavy casualties on the fleeing insurgents.

3. In the aftermath of the decisive encounter, 5 Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists were neutralized while the following equipments were captured: One Fabricated (VBL) Armoured Personnel Carrier, One Boko Haram Gun Truck, One NSVT Anti Aircraft Gun, One QJC Anti Aircraft Gun, One Rocket Propelled Grenade Tube, One PKT Gun, One General Purpose Machine Gun, One QJC Extra Barrel, 6 AK 47 Rifles, 311 rounds of 7.62mm Ammunition NATO (links). Further exploitation is being carried out as the resilient troops continue to dominate the area with aggressive patrols.

4. Relatedly, on 8 November 2020, troops of 151 Task Force Battalion deployed at Special Response Area Miyanti in Bama LGA of Borno State while on fighting patrol made contact with a pocket of Boko Haram criminals. The gallant troops instinctively engaged the criminals with heavy volume of fire and consequently destroyed their hideout. The troops further rescued one woman and 3 children unharmed from the criminals. Accordingly, 2 bicycles and other items were recovered from the fleeing insurgents.

5. In the same vein, on 3 November 2020, troops of Army Super Camp 7 deployed in Bama, Borno State successfully thwarted a suicide attempt on their camp. The vigilant troops sighted and neutralized the lone female suicide bomber before she could detonate her vest.

6. In another development, troops of Army Super Camp 11 deployed at Gamboru on 3 November 2020 conducted a robust Clearance/Fighting Patrol to clear suspected Boko Haram Criminals hideouts at Bulama Lumbe and Ndufu Villages. The gallant troops came in contact with the criminals and engaged them with heavy volume of fire neutralizing 2 Boko Haram criminals and forcing others to flee with possible gunshot wounds. Resulting from the encounter, the troops captured one AK 47 Rifle and 2 Boko Haram terrorists flags.

7. The troops of Operation FIRE BALL are hereby commended for their resilience, doggednes and commitment exhibited during the above encounters. They are equally encouraged not to rest on the successes so far achieved but build on them.

8. The entire populace of the North East zone are hereby assured of the determination of the High Command of the Armed Forces of Nigeria to finally rout out the remnants of the Boko Haram Terrorists /ISWAP criminals from their enclaves.

NAF 141
NAF 142
Ready locked and loaded. This is really good news as reported by Air Commodore Ibikunle.
The NAF is getting ready to step up into another deadly level.
This is very important news in terms of the NAF.
What is inevitable is the NAF will eventually have another Air Command - The ISR / Surveillance /UAV &UCAV Command.

When you guys come with this your hand me down analysis of the America-Africa relationship with respect to the Trump's administration, I cringe!

I wonder how grown men can be so sentimental and emotional about affairs that demand tact and reason.

Trump has refused to be the police of the world. He has asked people to stay and fix their country and through corporate governance policy has support nations (Nigeria, Mexico and Turkey) to achieve to their optimal capabilities.

The people he is up against nko, they have through the years shown no form of solidarity to us except pay lips service.

Why do pple have to be so mischievous.... Right now right here, if Chad says "we killed 3000 terrorist" without offering proof some dudes would still believe them singing all kinds of praises....
It not like the N.A have God eye and know where the enemy are... They go on offensive patrol to flush out the enemy- and if u don't think they go searching for the enemy how come they do step on IEDs and encounter ambush...

When are we getting the remaining tanks and artilleries from China? It's been 9 months since the initial delivery and nothing yet on subsequent delivery.

We wouldn't be aware when the remaining batches would be delivered, when it comes to NA deliveries you only hear about the first deliveries and not the subsequent ones.
Until more pictures surface online then would be able to confirm them !
