My supervisor is to give me 15kcda yearly and my tuition is about 9kcda yearly so the additional 4.2m was able to take care of the remaining 4kcda in order to meet up with IRCC requirements. When I began the program I got more funding of about 12kcda. I hope this helps kelvine95: 1 Like |

blcoolfemol: Thanks a lot. I got funding of 26.1k cad per year and my tuition is about 18.3k cad for first year and lesser for 2nd year. I showed around 1.35m of personal savings. Do you think this is enough fund? Also is health plan and book supplies part of living expense or tuition? |

I wish everyone looking forward to immigrate to Canada on this platform a SUCCESS. I'm glad to know that this platform still exist. Don't get tired, share experience with one another, be optimistic.....Trust me on this...Y'all will get here in no time. Most of my fellow monikers back then that we pushed together through Part 11 are all here...we hooked up, had fun and all. This information is more like a Feedback looking back through the tough time. I pray that at one point in time your life, you'd have reasons to come back and say a few words to encourage people that are going through this same process on this platform....Amen!! 19 Likes |

I think you should be fine in terms of financial eligibility. I don't have the information for health plan and book supplies. All I know is 10kcda yearly for living expenses as requested by IRCC kelvine95: |

Most times if you are seeking for MSc funding, you need secure a potential supervisor and if you can read back, lots of ways have been discussed on how to secure a potential supervisor. If you check page 1 of this thread you will get the gimmick. Mind you having the consent of a supervisor does not guarantee admission. I wish you all the best. MOKENN: |

School admission time can take 4weeks, sometimes more, sometimes less. It depends on the school schedule. Read up the various streams of scholarship funding on the their website plus its requirements and if you have question email them, some of them even have chat rooms Bosede24: |

Hello guys. Please I need help. And I will appreciate any answers I can get. I'm a lawyer. Certified and trained in Nigeria for over 3 years now. I'm hoping to migrate to Canada and I'm prepping up to write the IELTS exams soon. I graduated with a 2.2 here in Nigeria in 2015 so I cant go for the full fledged masters because of that so I'm aiming for a diploma in something legal related in Canada and hopefully might upgrade to a masters in the future if I see the need to. I was wondering, hows it like migrating to Canada and practicing law there. MOST people I spoke to about the whole migrating thing adviced that's it's pretty difficult to get admission in a school in Canada if you dont go for a course which you already have a background on. So my questions are. 1. Is it easy to get a law practicing job or a job relating to the legal profession in general in Canada. 2. I'm not really a do or die lawyer so I dont mind having another profession after schooling there as long as it's a clean, professional and comfortable job. Because of this, is it reasonable to just forget the law thing and start thinking of something else if possible? 3. If 2 above is reasonable, what other options should I be opened to. The major point is to get a job in Canada, what sort of profession can someone easily get a job. Thanks for the replies |
