using the pro version. I think the difference is just the case battery which is 800mah. The sound is mad, bro. Just no use am for road. I for get the Kz ZSN Pro since na my pikin dey sell am but I no just like anything wey get wire.

Okay.. I was considering it. Not the pro version.

When I realized it's 800mah, I had to ask if it lasts and worth it.

I got the Redmi Note 9S yesterday and I'm currently experiencing a very frustrating bug.
A message saying "find device has unexpectedly closed" will flash across my the bottom of screen and then the phone will reboot itself. When I unlock it again, the message will appear again and the phone will reboot itself making the phone unusable.

When it happened the first time I didn't know what triggered it but I did a factory reset on the phone and updated the os to miui 12.
I was able to use the phone for hours without any problems but this morning when I opened the Security App it happened again. And I had to do another hard reset losing all my data in the process once again.

I've reported the issue but I don't know whether they'll address it. I looked online and I saw that some other xiaomi phone users have been experiencing this as well.

Has anyone here experienced this too?

This was thesame thing I experience three days after I bought my Redmi 9c. it was the security app that cause it too. it made me lost most of my files from my old phones. I had to do hard reset and start all over. I have avoided that security app like plague since then.
I think it's a big in their latest update. just avoid that security app next time, your phone will be fine

Your network isn't that bad so the battery could have been better.

Drain your battery and charged switched off to 100% and I hope your phone software is up to date.

Yeah, I've been using it all day and it's been good so far. I even messed around with the Security App in the morning to confirm whether it was really the problem and surprisingly nothing happened.

I'll avoid the app going forward sha. If I experience the bug again I'll have to find the time to return the phone now that it's still fresh in my hands.

Did you report the bug?

EU ROM cry

Yes it seems the issue is pretty common to random units

I recommend returning the phone, nothing can really be done to fix that issue asides the bootloader stuff that the other guy talked about

Take it to them and tell them about how it switches off on its own and ask for another unit

Sorry for the inconvenience bro
Totally didn't know such a problem existed
Thanks man. It seems to be working fine now but I'll avoid the app just to be safe.

If I notice anything else I'll have to make time to return it before it's too late.

I think that should be it because for months now my phone's battery hasn't been to 0% I normally leave it around 10 Percent then charge to 100% back. My phone is a year old.

We can't also rule out depreciation depending on the kind of Usage.

I no dey play with updates, I dey update sharp sharp as en still hot. I know if there is any bug that xiaomi wouldn't hesitate to send another update to fix it that is why my mind dey strong to update. Immediately I saw someone post about miui 12 for redmi note9 pro, I checked my updater shaparly and it was true, na that same force I start to update despite battery 22% and data of 786mb but the update was 683mb. I took the risk cos I know what I will gain is far better than being scared of bugs and other stories I hear from people who update. So for those scared of updating their phones, sending updates and fixing bugs is one area xiaomi excels plus their beautiful miui skin.
Please update your phones, the updates make them better, if you see how beautiful my phone is though not with the original screen, it is very power efficient, very fast and very responsive like a new phone.
