Alright. You've got nothing to worry about.
Just go with the one you have.
And secondly, hope the new one is not a Business account or a statement account that belongs to a business name. It's important you know this. I'm sure you're aware.

Lest i forget, while filling the DS-160, who did you mention as Sponsor?
And for trip payment, did you mention the person's name?

Please the statement of account I used is registered to a business name. What do you think I should do

Please I have been denied student visa 3 times and am applying again but this time with a scholarship....I heard there are no dates for visa appointment.... please can someone attend to me

This maybe off point, but I'll really appreciate if someone can answer me.

I graduated with a CGPA off 2.82 in Business administration. What are my chances of getting admission and probably a waiver(since that's now a requirement before visa is issued)?

Hope there won't be any problem if I'm funding myself?
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Henrryng: 11:03pm On Nov 11, 2020
Then what can I do it was the one available at that moment. I didn't want to waste time because of the traffic on interviews. The main school I'm planning on attending was delaying so I just put the other one because of time.
Chonco:

That was why i asked, 'what happened'? I think he booked an appointment without making proper arrangements first.

VO will be like : I can see you're applying to study Linguistics at Texas State University.

Applicant: hmmmm! No. California state university is the school.

You know this scenario is not going to be funny.

Please, someone should assist with the list of documents I need to take with me to the interview,I don't want to leave any document behind that will result in printing and making photocopy for #10,000.

Please I need response. Thank you.

Please did you see something like this date on your Dashboard before later seeing Nov 13th while scheduling

Have you tried checking Abuja to see the first available date? It may be earlier than that of Lagos. Verify!

Hello. Firstly, I suggest you read up past pages, and research the school(s) you're interested in to see how you meet the eligibility requirements. Your 'chances' for admission are determined by the school and your profile.

Secondly, I'm not sure about which waiver you're referring to, that you say is now a requirement for Visa issuance. Whether it is application fee waiver, tuition fee waiver, or GRE waiver, it's hard to tell. You probably need to be more specific. Again, reading up past posts will likely answer most of your questions.

The gurus in the house may be better positioned to respond more comprehensively.

God bless you.

This has sincerely been my worry, like I think everyone whose visa has been approved here had full funding.
Please to the gurus, do they actually give people without full funding visas?
Yes!! There are many instances here of visa approvals without scholarships. Have faith.

I'm not a VO nor a guru, so you probably shouldn't take my word as final. Personally, I don't think it's a requirement, though it appears to be an advantage. Some people with scholarships have been denied before, while others without any have been approved.

Quick question please?

My application checklist for US Universities I applied to includes officially reported transcripts(that is from my school staffs with professional emails). Please oh, I graduated about 3 years ago and sadly, some of my teachers are no more, some relocated. Funny part of it is that, my high school is a public one does not even have a website talk more of professional emails.
Please how do I report official transcripts in this case?
Applying to like 5 universities.

Please explain your take on using a business account.
So if one has a flourishing business with such amount, it can't be used or must it be from a personal account only?

ME: Good morning sir

VO: Drop your documents here

VO: where are you going to in the US

ME: Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia Arkansas to pursue my master degree in computer and information science with research interest in bioinformatics... Cuts me off.

VO: what is bioinformatics

Me: Bioinformatics is an aspect of computer information science that has to do with dissemination, manipulation, storage and processing of Bio data...my head was empty here, I just started saying, you know making Bio data easier to reach...

VO: *felt unsatisfied* why did you pick this research.

ME: see ehn, I applied for a job at Federal ministry of science and technology, they rejected me because I dont have degree in computer science and in bioinformatics... I wanted to start crying in my mind.

V.O: who is sponsoring you
ME: my parent.

VO: what do they do.
ME: My dad is a dealer with dangote cement.

VO: what did you say he is doing with dangote.

ME: He partners with Dangote cement

VO: What does he dooo

Thanks to God , to Him, to @oluwole(super kind soul) aka @mulerider, to Nike Omijori (Humble and wonderful sister), to ake (always doing the findings), Fairheart (guy!!!! Words can't express), thanks to everyone literally
Congratulations

I got some form of scholarship from my school but an undergraduate degree and my deficit is still on the high, though I don't have an issue with the cost of attendance I just don't know if I'll be convincing enough to the VO that my parents would be able to foot the bills.

My question is, what is your total cost of attendance?
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Rut3: 3:59am On Nov 12, 2020
@notimezone...15,000$. For those of you scared of low grade, well I finished with a 2.79/5 and still got admission and a visa. God, research and people helped. @mulerider @fairheart, shebi I will continue to mention you people's name. Thank you

You see this right here? This is the hope and encouragement we need!

A big congratulations to you and thank you for sharing your transcript with us. I think this is the first transcript from someone without any funding from school that got approved. Now those who don't have funding (like me) can have a breather and just prepare without feeling discouraged or pessimistic about our chances.
Once again, congrats.

This is a big win for those of us without funding! Lol.

Yes, you can and you must do it. Also, fill another DS-160 form and update the information on your cgi portal. Make sure you do all this at least 3 days before your interview.

You can only request for one emergency on a single MRV and cancel appointment once , second cancellation will lead to payment for another MRV.
You can reschedule to Abuja but can’t request emergency again.
