PDP is just a very unserious political party in this country. As soon as they lost the presidential power, they became complacent. No action or whatsoever to put the ruling party on their toes. Pdp is no different to ApC anyways. They are probably hoping to snatch power again and continue with their fuckery. |

emperor863: Your analysis are not bad but APC is not sure to win in 2023 yet. . Over the years of APC presidency they have lost a good number of their supporters due to bad governance. You can agree with me that PDP recovered most of the positions they lost in 2015 during the 2019 election. It all depends on the personalities that will be presented by both parties. In an election that will produce candidates that are not as popular as buhari you can't be sure of who will win yet in both parties |

Moferere: Always remember that igbos are the most traveled tribe in Nigeria and majorly dont stay in their home state but that does not change their identity even in the poll. l reside in Rivers as Igboman and l drove down to vote PDP alongside my wife even my younger brother told me he voted PDP also. So the south south votes you are counting includes igbos residing in those towns. Same with Lagos etc Politics is changing. No be mailed vote Biden carry floor Trump 3 Likes |

tuniski: Why are you having a myopic view? The issue being discussed is not about presidency alone. Parties are also struggling to win more seats in the national assembly and more governorship seat across the country. Every seat matters , as well as the presidency. There is no party that would like to lose any of the seat |

You know nothing about Nigerian politics. So rigging is a joke to you? Even yardua was shocked by the kind of election fraud that brought him to power. No Matter who you vote for, the electoral body then will always have the final say, social media is now checkmating some of INEC excesses Eastlink: 1 Like |

Preshob: When you sit in a class filled with dundees over time you will start to doubt your intelligence. That is the dilemma of Ndigbo in today's Nigeria. We are the oldest democracy on earth for a reason. We shouldn't allow cultures where democracy is alien teach us how it is done. Their noise might be loud but in the end through persistence we shall teach the black race what it truly means to be free. 4 Likes |

I read most comments here and I have the following submissions: 1. Op based his assertion on Ebony State governor's decamp to APC. 2, Op is not an Igbo man though he claimed to be Igbo. 3, He only insulted Igbos and desire like minds who helped via their comments. 4, Igbos prefer fairness in government policies to the office of the president. (Only Igbo politicians who have parochial interest would opine that Igbos want presidency more that fairness in policies administered in Nigeria). 5, Buhari has tried but hunger still persist in Nigeria .(EndSars protest is as a result of ppl's uncomfortable with the government, Igbos didn't start EndSars protest). 6, From majority of the comments here, the aim of this thread is to exhibit hate against Igbos. In conclusion, People should stop fanning the ember of hate and tribalism, we need a better Nigeria and not tribalism and hate, thank you. 4 Likes |

nzeobi:Irrespective of how you look at it, whether by ratio or numbers, Igbo are not getting it right. They voted along a single line and majority of their people refused to vote. Yoruba spread their votes. If Atiku had won, Yoruba would have stood a better chance to demand for better positions than igbos |

Moferere:Lol, core northern states have always voted buhari since 2003, nothing like spreading of votes to them. How would yoruba have stood better chances if pdp have won when we know the tribe that Gave pdp majority of the votes in lagos. Am telling you that SE gave pdp about 70-75% of the total valid votes cast and yoruba gave him around 45 %. So who has more bagging power. 1 Like |

nzeobi: What parameters did you use to arrive at the conclusion that majority of the PDP votes in Lagos were cast by Igbos? You see, you are going the way of your elders. This is how they do their permutations and that is why Igbos have been victims of every elections. I reside in Abuja, every election, we mobilise ourselves and travel back to the West. South Southerners too travel back home, majority of hausa people in the south too travel back home. You know why? Because we know that at the end of the day, when negotiations start it will be about how many votes did your state give our party? Not how many votes did Igbos in Lagos give pdp in Lagos. That sound dumb |
