Who knows if the exam software comes with calculator to do simple calculations?

The laptops used at cbt centers have their inbuilt calculators. Tap the windows icon on the keyboard and search calculator, you should see the system calculator, click it and use. I'm sure you can make use of that. But trust me that'll waste your time. I'm quite sure the calculations won't really require calculators. But if you need it, just search as I told you.

i wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t see it on ground.. the truth is even some of us that went with connect were bounced and people that got in on total merit got it without any hiccups..
45, the 4 guys and one girl that got in from my state were the only ones that passed Medicaid.. they didn’t know anybody.. they didn’t know anything.. they just applied and came..
46.. same thing met plenty from Lagos, Oyo, etc..
I never discredit the merit cos they are plenty..

They didn't know anybody or they told you they didn't know anyone?

There is a difference between the two.

People that have being there before and experience things themselves tell you guys wassup but una no dey ever gree. Anyone that is successful is believed to know somebody which is absolutely false. The irony of it all is that most of the people attributing everything to connection made it to screening without knowing anyone, when they fail medicals they won't tell people that they were dropped on medical grounds na to begin query the integrity of the whole process. Whether we like it or not it is not everyone who makes it to the screening or even face board makes final list because the army have a limited number of cadets they can absorb per state. Let's say 40 people are shortlisted in a state and out of that number 20 made it to the board, and army can only accept say 8 per state for cadet training the remaining 12 that don't make the final list will start propagating all manner of accusations. True people get in with push from godfathers but the fact still remains that some others make it without knowing even a shoe shiner.

I don't think this is true bro! that you were even shortlisted for the interview on two occasions is a testament to the fact that getting this job is a function of luck and destiny. Yes, people do lobby for it but believe you me they also have a sizeable slot for merit. For those that haven't been shortlisted before despite meeting all requirements will also believe that you that was shortlisted twice have connections. Just hope and pray for the best if it's yours nothing will stop you many people are getting in w/o knowing anyone. The armed forces to a large extent is one of the few gov't establishment were merit is considered. It's more difficult to get Police, civil defence job or any paramilitary organisation than any of the armed Forces. Reason being that these paramilitary outfit run an opaque recruitment process, the army is even introducing exams this time to make it more open so that those coming for screening will be based on their efforts and not tininitanana.
i understand you fully, but during my time 9 of us from my state face the board, 6 were selected, while the 3 of us were dropped! It came so close...now listen to where corruptions comes in, 6 made to the final list in my state, okay Kaduna state had 11 candidate that made it to training sch. Why? Because NA know about the confusion they have cause, they made the final list based on Zone not per state! Airforce list came out, 5 per state, all state got equal candidate except ABJ which is okay! But NA did us bad; Why sideline us? Why not pick the 9 of us? Imagine say we get leg, i am also not disputing the fact that army screening is a bit more transparent but there is corruption deep down in NA, most esp when it comes to final list, they temper wit it. Also u saying other paramilitary is difficult to get compare to armed forces is totally not true, only ARMY is easy! Airfoce and Navy? Dont even go there! Navy that sometimes pick 3 per state imagine your chances of getting in, compare to police, civil defence abi immigration lol.
Finally, Army introducing exam maynot be really about efforts of candidate it may also be because people dont show up for screening after selecting them, They might try to test your mindset! Like are you in for this game or not?
las las How do i print my Photocard wit my picture on it?

Why are you worrying about things that don’t mean anything.. you’ve seen your name on the list and the time for your exam, what do you need text message for?

Of course you're still on course, or did you receive any email when you started the registration? Because a vast majority of applicants didn't get.

This Ugo Sabi talk nonsense ehn.

Let no one deceive you, 85% applying for DSSC/SSC in any of the armed forces know someone or at least knows someone that knows someone that knows someone. Basically, they have one form of connection or the other. Out of that 85%, 30% will openly come out to say the truth. The remaining 70% that will tell you they don't have are simply lying. Everybody go wan dey form "na God do am". "I did it without knowing a single soul".

Don't be deceived.

Tell them ooo
It's even foolishness to apply for these things without working on or establishing one form of connection or the other. Who are you wey e sure for you like that? Abacha's son?

You apply for navy DSSC lasan and you no get connection well anything can happen sha but everybody will see you as a joker. A serious person who needs these things will simply have connections to boost his chances. Those who are saying they don't know anybody are liars.
