Anyone using New hope feed here? I'm very sure my birds problem comes from changing from new hope professional starter to new hope commercial finisher.
They will be calling sick anytime I changed from starter to finisher.
I'll start using Amo finisher or Ultima finisher from next week.

Sorry about the loss boss. Well, one is rather a fair number to have died (I am being very sincere with you, I expected more) from the picture you sent in. Please continue with the medication while you give them close monitoring. Worry not, their condition will improve with time.

But u just gave them treatment for 1 day its not a magical solution let's at least tomorrow evening before drawing conclusion

Thanks alot. I think they are now okay but d medication according to the vet I bought it for should be a 7days dosage but I just finished today in less than 4days can I still buy another to continue or I should observe them a little first

Observe them before buying more if they are OK now

Big one is 2 months, my first order from Noeloge82, I sold them at 3weeks, left five for myself. I have killed the rest to my pot of soup.
The small one is my last order from Noeloge82 too, 5weeks old.
They are down with Coryza for over two weeks, their feed intake has really decreased, that is why they are not more than this weight.

Pls house, how much are they selling live chicken per kg to the coldroom customer or those people that do process it especially in ibadan oyo state.
Somebody say 700/kg and i think it is too small compare to price of things now. Am also broiler rearer, pls help oooo

How old are your birds? Are you following a vaccination/medication chart? Have you given fowl-pox vaccine? A picture will give a clearer picture too boss!!!

my birds are 9 weeks. and I stopped following the medication plan after 38 days. I just treat as required. I've not given fowl pox vaccination before only lasota and gumboro

Anyone using Chikun or Ultima finisher here?
From my observation, it seems new hope and co are using fresh and not dry maize to produce their feed. I have lost three chicken already this week. Chicken that are not dying from day old are dying at 5weeks when I changed their feed to finisher.
I stopped and the finisher three days ago, I started giving them super starter, they are not eating it like they are eating pellet, it looks like they don't like crumble again.
I gave their the crumble super starter for 2 days, their poo get normal again with the help of Corylsp. But since they are not eating like before and it is not showing on their crop, I changed back to the finisher yesterday night, they were happy and they rushed it, their crop got bigger again, I was happy.
This morning again, I saw their poo green, though not watery, and I lost another bird, I withdraw all their feed and I changed it to Chikun grower meant for the turkeys. I want to manage that till Monday that I will have enough money to buy either Amo feed or Ultima Feed.
i will update the whole house by Tuesday

You actually missed fowl pox vaccine although many farmers ignore it in broiler but use preventive drugs regularly but if u used d vaccine their would be no need for the drugs .
But I will suggest u isolate the affected bird then buy poxcare from your vet and treat all of your birds for 5 days.

CTC is also a coryza drug but acts better when supported with antibiotics

No fixed price some sell 700 some sell 1000 it's not a fixed price but a bargain price based your production cost and remember dressed price is higher than life price
Cos in dressed all the intestine that will add to body weight have been removed
