Hello, please can someone help me out
I applied to Centennial college for Global business Management, May 2021. I got a mail back that I had to pay a deposit before I could get an acceptance letter.
After going through the tuition fees breakdown the school sent to me, I realized that there are cheaper courses I could take in the same school.
I wanted to ask if it’d be wise to send a mail to Centennial College that I would like to change my course.
I haven’t paid the deposit yet and I have not started applying for study permit. What do you advice I do

Please answer us that paid for 2-way delivery. I have received a mail that my passport has been stamped and also introduction letter I think

Track your return parcel to check if they have received it. I also paid for two way courier and I have been tracking it . It showed that they've collected my passport and it's on transit to me. They do honour two way courier dont pay any extra in-house fee if you did a two way courier. If peradventure your passport is ready and it hasn't been picked up. Do well to contact the courier service you used.

Hi. Has anyone paid for the return? How did it go? Did VFS reply or pick your call?
Good afternoon..yes I was able to chat with them this morning And I was told VFS itself will send a mail telling me they have sent the passport back and how to collect it.i asked about the mail that was received and I was told that it's when the embassy has stamped it and scanned the visa,an automatic message is sent but VFS hasn't received it yet..so I was told to wait that thy would contact me soon once they get the passport back

Hi. It has been hard to contact vfs. Phone number is connecting. It's seems VFS is managed by a Nigerian. The organization seems poor. Why #12,000? This is too much. I sent my transcript to canada with just #24,000. So why is this one too expensive? We always exploit ourselves. This is not good

This is not true. You pay for return courier based on your location.

If you are reading this, don't give up. Even if you don't have a millions, just start, and don't be intimidated by millions of naira people post here. Your case maybe different. Remember, there is schloarships, funding, stipends, and all. Keep applying and you may just be lucky.

I transtioned from looking for a loan, to getting a funding offer that covers, at least my tuition and I believe that changes the narrraion of my application. Although, I have a strong academic profile, a distinction from the Polytechnic, a first class from the University, and two international publications. But, then, I didn't get a worthy schloarship until my last app, after having applied to about 10 schools, both in the USA and Canada.

So you see, just don't give up. I wish there are other ways to say it, but , it is what it is.

Good luck everyone!

My wife and I got our passport request yesterday and we are still waiting for our daughter's. Below is our timeline:

AOR - February 20, 2020

Medical - N/A

Biometrics - N/A

BVL - August 5, 2020

GCMS Notes Application: September 17, 2020

GCMS Notes Received: October 12, 2020 - Counterfoil Approved (August 5th)

Approval/PPR: November 12, 2020

We did biometrics together at VFS in December 2019. The VFS printout has both our name. I am wondering if I can send both our passports in the same envelope to VFS since the VFS printout has both our name?

Also what is the procedure for two way courier, please?

Thanks

This is not true. You pay for return courier based on your location.

I asked earlier o.

And the feedback was that the N12,570 was a flat rate.

Please where did you find this table?

It’s on their website. I don’t know if I can post the link here.
Under VFS services, you’ll see Courier service then Courier services available at the Visa Application Centre for return of your passport at the address provided, there’s a link to the table.

In the NCDC website I came across an information that a pre-boarding COVID-19 test is to be done in an accredited private laboratory for Nigeria international travel. Please I need someone to confirm probably from someone who have travelled recently before booking flight to avoid disappointment

Travellers to Canada aren’t required to do a Covid19 test or to even show a negative test. However, it depends on the airline you decide to use. Some airlines specifically request for a negative Covid19 test

If I were you, I'd send my passport to Abuja VFS or Niamey VFS (Niger). Preferably Niamey VFS or Yaounde VFS. You may even prioritize Accra VFS over Lagos. That is if you have the extra money to spend on transmission fees and courier charges. It may be worth the hassle if you want to get your passport back soon. Lagos VFS should be a last resort except you are not in a hurry to travel.
