He will bring in Lookman and use him as a left back grin. .

See eh, it doesn't matter how many talented players we have available..As long as the coach has no idea how to use them, we won't achieve anything..
There's level to this coaching thing..

Take for instance,h the season Rodgers got sacked by Liverpool,we were playing poorly..getting draws against shitty opponents...Some people thought it was because of the players....
then Klopp came in,and he took that same squad to two finals that season..

Funny enough,Rodgers went to Leicester and turned them around from the disastrous days for Puel...

Rohr has it stands, has neither the abilities of Rodgers or Klopp...He is a good man manager, but tactically,he is has nothing better to offer..

4 years at the job and we can't really say where he is heading....
Here's my solution to NFF on Rohr rather than sack him since it's obvious we can't pay him off.
Let just upgrade him to Chief Scout and appoint a new coach.
What do you guys think?

CAN OLA AINA PLAY AS A WINGER

If our wingers are injured can Rohr use ola aina or zaidu sanusi or ebuehi as an attacking winger.
I mean this can be an interesting tactical option.
Also Awaziem can be tried in midfield to mark.
Also Ahmed Musa because of his pace and energy can be tried as a striker. He plays better as a striker
Go and get a license bro you are so on point

I mean some wing backs can easily play as wingers
Also chidera ejuke can be make to win red card and penalties for us with his dribbling skills. Give him a roving role. Tell him to dribble inside the box 18 and try and win penalties for us like kanu used to do
Also iheanacho as a deep lying striker can be an attacking weapon if he know how to use him.

These are interesting tactical options but i doubt Rohr's tactical capacity or innovative mindset.

My first statement is the real fact

You think qualifying for the World Cup is moi moi abi ?

I am a big rohr fan and almost everyone here can testify you don’t like rohr more than me but the truth and reality is bitter

If there is anyone who like rohr more then me it might me Charles emeka or nerdy

This group we are is for afcon and we will qualify for afcon easily as we will beat them at Freetown

I am talking of the World Cup qualifiers which is yet to start
I'm talking about world cup not afcon. World cup qualifier has third round playoffs. The thing is that Nigeria has a consistent record in world cup qualifiers no matter our state as a team. That's why I believe we will qualify. Nothing concern me with Rohr btw.

rohr is really messing up. Let ebuehi and Aina fight for the right back. Let Kevin fight for CB with balogun, ekong, Omeruo, awasiem and semi. Rohr should stop this nonsense of forcing Kevin as rb down our throat.
It's one thing if it's Ebuehi benching him but Akpoguma who is a CB by trade and also just joined the team, even me go vex

certainly that group can't be tougher than the group of death we fell into in 2016. A group of four former afcon champions including nigeria

Benin Republic beat Lesotho 1-0.
Now they have 6 points.
We still top the group with 7 points.
Sierra Leone have 2 points.
Lesotho have 1 point.

Two teams must qualify for AFCON 2021 from this group

Frohrd said Akpos is better in the air. Why so much emphasis on air for a RB when we needed a CB with air prowess? Why Akpos no use he head prevent those crosses? Lol

Kog45:
Hmmm,Aina on the bench against Algeria,Tunisia and funny enough him and Ebuehi on the bench against Sierra Leone...
Walahi Rohr dey craze.

I can saying it anywhere that Sanusi is not better than Aina.

Ebuehi as RB and Aina LB! Shikena..

…see this coach? It shows he does not even know the players he invites to national team. As a German if he watches Bundesliga he should know that Akpoguma plays centreback for Hoffenheim… ok, let us agree you played Akpoguma at rightback because he is better in the air than Awaziem, Aina and Ebuehi… so are you telling us Rohr that you will invite four rightbacks to play a match? Is that normal for anyone who is not retarded? The quality of heading… where do we need it more? Right back or Centreback? Anyone who is not a PHE teacher will know headers for a defender are qualities needed for critical clearances and when aerial balls are floated in… they come right to the middle, so if Akpoguma is good with the head as Balogun which we know, does common sense not suggest Akpoguma should be used at Centreback and not Rightback? Why should a coach then have four rightbacks for a match? This man is confused… he knows if Kevin Akpoguma is to play at Centreback, he has to sacrifice between Balogun and Ekong, and clearly it is Ekong who should sit on the bench for Akpoguma… he is afraid of Ekong because of the status of occasional vice-captain and does not want to start him from the bench… this is the point period! You have to sacrifice high- performing fullbacks like Awaziem, Aina with knowledge of the African game and even an ever performing Ebuehi for someone who should better be deployed at centreback… Gernot Rohr is confused PHE teacher! Who will give a man like this coaching job at this point in his life anywhere in any division if not we in Africa with our slave mentality and inferiority complex. Can Rohr coach French or German national team? Him even get the liver to fit go near those people dressing room? We celebrate mediocrity in Africa that is why even the whites never take us serious… we have no pride in our ourselves… we can always tolerate a foolish whiteman but never our own. Which indegenous coach has ever been treated as good as Rohr?

The game could have ended 4-2, if Chukwueze and Iwobi did not lose the ball in our half. Losing the ball by these two, lead to two goals against us.

very thoughtful of you!

It has once been suggested that the federation hires a sound technical assistance to Rohr to help fill the gap of his ineptitudeness. They heeded and gave us a rookie in Joseph Yobo as an assistant coach.

It seems Amaju's federation are becoming complacent and less ambitious like the Arsenal F.C Board.

We can only wish the team the best. But me I no de expect anything spectacular from Rohr's team.

that Croatia match surely among the most boring matches I've watched under rohr
We were so disjointed, no tactical input

To me the writing was on the wall right from the friendly games prior to the Mundial....we were so poor,no organization ,not until he switched to 3-5-2 against Iceland did we start performing

My major fear now is even if NFF sack rohr
Would they appoint a better replacement, if we are to go by their recent appointements for the junior team then I guess we should expect the worse

Our game against Sierra Leone was annoying, it was poor, very poor

But we throw the word SACK anyhow here sef

Lose a game, Sack ROHR

qualify for AFCON with game to spare, Rohr is the best thing after Garri and groundnut

Make we give am breather joor... No be Rohr instruct Iwobi and Sanusi to dash those guys the fourth goal nor Chukwueze to gift the first

He has his fault but then, they all do

Sure..but we av definitely reached our peak with rohr, nothing else can b achieved again with what he has already done, with him @ d helms of affair...except if we re not tired of what he has done den we can continue with d cycle of 3rd place in afcon, and an early exit @ d world cup max...

And we av already achieved all these wout rohr b4,so nothing special with him again..I will recommend his sack after d sierraleone match irrespective of d result or chill till after d nations cup qualification is finished, den we replace him.he has done his best. we meeuve cool

At least let me not take that aspect away from him. You and many others know I have been singing this tune for long. I've figured him out long. But there is something new I have noticed about him that a few here have also noticed. We saw in the friendlies that Akpoguma was not effective as a RB. Why not let the guy fight for a place in CB? Is Akpoguma better than Aina or Ebuehi at RB? They have all been tested there and we know the answer.

And to Okoye (and other new players especially MODIFIED), let's not get carried away about European football. Your performance in Europe earns you a call up. But when you come to SE, you have to be judged by your performance in the Green White Green alone. It's either you are not good enough or the coach simply does not know how to utilize you.

Someone here was still trying to excuse Rohr for the Benin disaster, tying to blame the players alone. If you are a coach and your opponent pulls 1 goal back. 2 goals and then 3, and you still cannot make changes that shows that you know what you are doing, is it the players to blame?

The blame is entirely his. Cos he's been too shifty with the team. Almost all the players play makeshift roles. The effect is that even the players will have no confidence and the entire team will be like a jelly, a little shaking and everything spills out bad

Have you thought of the financial implication of this?

Shey na to dey throw the sack around

The Next coach after Rohr is very important.. we shouldn't rush to make such a decision

Rohr took us from the brink of Oblivion, Yeah Maybe he has outlived his stay but whoever should replace his should be someone that will take us further not draw us back

Let us not forget where we coming from!!

Today we are angry because we drew against Sierra Leone(rightly so) but some years back we were getting flogged and beaten by minions for sport

No be by sacking Papa Rohr, na by hiring a worthy replacement

True bro, initially I was calling for his sack but I started to reason rationally now. He has been quite underwhelming in recent matches but he does not deserve a sack yet. Our football is still developing and he needs more time to prove himself. Even Germany did not sack their coach when they crashed out of WC. Frequent sacking of national team coach is not good for the team as national team is different from club.

Bro...we re not calling for his sack because of d result..dts a big NO

We re calling for his sack because after 4years on d job
1..HE doesn't knw his first eleven up till dis moment
2...we don't knw his style of play...we don't knw if its defensive, pressing or offensive style..

3...his tactical input during matches is a big suspect..he doesnt make good changes from d bench,(showing he doesn't really knw his team after 4years on d job),tactically inept

4...we feel he cant achieve more Dan what he has already done with dis team. Its only a delusional fan dt will still believe rohr will win d afcon with his kind of game approach;wc is not clear to us anyway

5 with d tax payers money of 50,000$ monthly been paid to rohr with dis type of job...I feel if half is given to a decent indigenous coach,he can @ least replicate or even achieve more Dan what rohr is doing @ d moment..so y waste d tax payers.money

I think with dis few point of mine,I av been able to convince and not to confuse u dt going forward.. Rohr is no longer needed @ d helms of affair cool

I never want to hear any CHAN or NPFL slander from anybody here again. None of those same people are showing face to explain this nonsense. If it was the home based they would say disband the whole team.
