What do you notice.poop color,are the birds active.are they eating ,what is the behaviour now that contrasts with their previous behaviour.

Not my best of broiler strain by the way. For festive sales, Marshall still tops my chart. (Abeg, na my personal opinion ooo)

Sorry boss, it's a case of impacted crop. That's why I always advice covering your woodshaving/sawdust at least 2 days to make your chicks be able to differentiate it from food.

Their poop is greenish and they've reduced the rate they eat.
Not generally as active as they were

Same thing happened to me, at first I thought it was new hope feed until I bought Among feed and it is still same.
if you look closely at the poo, you will discover it is not digesting feed normally, you will see some feed inside the poo.
I have used all sorts of drug and still no improvement and I keep loosing a bird everyday, their body weight reduced, they are not eating like before, they hardly eat sef, bit they drink enough water.
Thank God I finally get the solution yesterday, they are all with filled crop

what's your solution. Ever since I started using new hope feed. I started experiencing this too. Lost 8birds in 3days..have use all types of drugs no way..

But there's a slight disadvantage, they could have been bigger if not for the roaming about which burns of the fat.

Yup. But, they should have been bigger if confined to a smaller space to prevent excessive movements. I raised them that way because I need the room for my noilers.

My Oga, frustrating is an understatement. Over here, people just buy what is available whether na finisher, grower or layers, we just buy am. It's not been easy at all.
As for me, I don port to different options as means of feeding them; from using Brewer's waste (spent grains), cerelac, PKC, dried pap waste etc.

All my birds are restricted from the garden not after the damages I received from the turkeys. Those ones are worse than goats in damages.

Yes skyrocketing prices but my friends In the east are seriously complaining of not seeing feed to buy some said the ones they saw have moulds and giving their birds CRD although I believe it normalise in coming weeks I think the no movement during the protest caused the situation

we go survive, christmas farmers should do and go , they have compounded the whole issue..
Feed mills are shutting down...lack of raw materials.
